Odisha MBBS Counselling 2019 - Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Cell (OJEE), cell will conduct the counselling of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2019 in online mode. Aspirants who will be included in the state merit list will be eligible to participate in Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling. OJEE will conduct three rounds of Odisha MBBS counselling 2019 including mop-up round to fill the vacant seats left. Through the seat allotment of Odisha MBBS 2019, the selected candidates will be granted admission to around 950 MBBS and 150 BDS seats offered by government and private colleges of the state. 

In order to participate in counselling, aspirants must register themselves for Odisha MBBS/BDS admission 2019. For registration, they have to enter their personal, academic, NEET, contact and other details, to get the username and password. After logging in, candidates are required to provide their preferences of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to get admission.

Based on these choices filled, Odisha MBBS rank, seats available and reservation criteria, Odisha MBBS 2019 admission will be granted under 85% state quota seats. Once the result of Odisha MBBS counselling 2019 is announced, aspirants should report at the designated college for document verification and completion of admission process. The 15% seats from all government medical and dental colleges will be reserved for candidates selected under All India Quota seats. Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for AIQ seats based on scores mentioned in NEET result 2019.

Procedure of Odisha MBBS Counselling 2019

Candidates can check the stepwise elaborated process of Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling below.

Step 1 - Registration

In order to participate for seat allotment, aspirants must register themselves for Odisha MBBS 2019 admission. The link to register for the counselling of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2019 will be provided on this page, when available. While filling the application form of Odisha MBBS 2019, students must provide their personal, academic, NEET UG 2019, contact and other asked details. Later, they will be asked to create a password. Then, a username and password will be pop-up on the screen and it will send to the registered email ID. The login details should not be shared with anyone.

Step 2 - Choice filling and locking in Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling

Candidates will be required to login by entering their username and password in the space provided. Once they logged in, they have to provide the relevant details asked. Thereafter, they have to fill their choices of colleges as well courses, in which they wish to get admission. The choices once filled cannot be edited, therefore, aspirants are advised to fill as many preferences as they want carefully. No other chances will be allowed for filling of choices. To save the choices filled, students must lock the preferences. In case, anyone forgets to lock the choices, then the filled choices will be automatically locked.

Step 3 -  Odisha MBBS seat allotment 2019 process

Once the registration and choices filled, the authority will commence the process of seat allotment. Based on the filled preferences, merit rank mentioned in Odisha MBBS 2019 merit list, reservation criteria and availability of seats, the admission to MBBS and BDS seats will be allotted.

Step 4 - Result of Odisha MBBS counselling 

After the seat allotment process is over, OJEE cell will declare Odisha MBBS counselling result 2019 for each round. The result of counselling for first round will be announced in the first week of July 2019, while the round two result will be released in the first week of August. Step 5 - Download Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling admission letter

All the eligible aspirants who will be allotted seats must download the admission letter of Odisha MBBS counselling 2019. In order to download the allotment cum admission letter, candidates must enter the required credentials in the space provided and the link to download the same will be provided on this page.

Step 6 - Reporting at the allotted college

After downloading the admission letter, students must report at the allotted college through Odisha MBBS/BDS counselling 2019. It is important to report at the allotted college along with the relevant document for verification and completion of admission process. At the college, candidates will be asked to provide their option to accept the allotted seat or not.
