
West Bengal MBBS Counselling 2019 - Department of Health & Family Welfare, Kolkata will conduct counselling of West Bengal MBBS 2019 starting around last week of June. West Bengal MBBS 2019 counselling will be conducted in online mode and will have two rounds. A manual mop-up round will also be held after online rounds, but only if there are vacant seats left. The counselling process is open to candidates listed in West Bengal MBBS 2019 merit list, which will be prepared based on NEET 2019 scores. So, all aspirants need to qualify NEET. As part of West Bengal MBBS 2019 counselling process, merit list candidates will have to participate in choice filling and locking. The seat allotment of West Bengal MBBS 2019 will be based on both merit rank and choices opted by the candidate.

West Bengal MBBS Counselling 2019
Some 2,200 MBBS and 546 BDS seats will be filled through West Bengal MBBS 2019 admission process. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and options opted for admission at time of counselling. The state merit rank will be prepared using NEET 2019 scores.
West Bengal MBBS 2019 counselling will be conducted in online mode, with round-I likely to commence from last week of June; there will be two online counselling rounds. A manual mop-up round will also be conducted, but only if there are vacant seats left after online counselling; in fact for BDS course a second mop-up round may also be held.
To participate in West Bengal MBBS 2019 counselling process, merit list candidates will have to first get registered, post which they will have to participate in choice filling and locking and get their documents verified. The counselling process is described in detail below.

Step 1 - Registration
To start the registration process, click on the “New Registration” button. A registration form will open, where the candidate will have to fill in details related to NEET roll and application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Contact details including email id and mobile number also have to be entered. Depending on the domicile, select any of the three options - a1 or a2 or b, and then category.
Once registration form is duly filled, click on the submit button.
Step 2 - Payment of counselling fee
The application fee will vary depending on the category of the candidate - refer the table below for details - and can be paid in online mode using net banking, credit or debit card.

Step 3 - Document verification
The candidate has to next get his or her documents verified by reporting at a document verification centre. If the verification process is successful, verification certificate will be issued.
Step 4 - Choice filling and locking
Only such candidates who have successfully had their documents verified will be able to participate in the choice filling process. One must enter choices in the order of priority.

Pass certificate of Class 10 and 10+2
Mark sheet of Class 10
West Bengal MBBS 2018 provisional seat allotment letter
Valid ID proof. (School or College ID card/Voter ID card/Aadhar card/Passport)
Medical Certificate from Registered Medical Allopathic Practitioners
Verification slip generated during pre-counselling phase.
Final verification slip generated after the document verification.
Category certificate
Orthopaedic Physical Disability Certificate issued by a medical board of IPGMER Kolkata. Certificate issued by other authorities will not be accepted.
West Bengal MBBS BDS Seat Allotment 2019
The seat allotment of West Bengal MBBS 2019 will be made separately for each of the counselling rounds. West Bengal 2019 seat allotment result for Round I will be announced tentatively in the 1st week of July. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to download and take printout of the seat allotment letter by logging in into individual applicant accounts. The allotment letter and original of other essential documents will have to be produced by such candidates at time of document verification.
