She further added “You have to keep reminding yourself that I am worthy and I can do this. It is very important to have faith in yourself. You can achieve your goal.” Read the full interview of NEET 2021 topper Pavit Singh to know all the aspects of his preparation for the NEET exam.
Pavit Singh: I am very pleased and of course, there is an aspect of a surprise because I didn’t expect that the paper would go so well. I remember the time I came out from the hall, I just knew my OMR has just not gone wrong. I had no idea of how I had performed. Because of the online situation, the practice of OMR had reduced a lot that also stressed before the paper.

Pavit Singh: My mother is a doctor, from the very beginning I use to go with her to the hospital, as a child, seat with her in the lab. I use to see people coming to her, she is explaining stuff to patients. Of course, at that time that was Latin and Greek to me but now I understand what does that means. I loved math but I always dreamed of being a doctor.
Pavit Singh: Yes, this was my first attempt. I started my preparation from class 11.
Pavit Singh: The boards luckily got cancelled. I didn’t give much priority to the board, this time they got cancelled. Whatever happened in the school, I gave all that but that was on very short-term preparation.
Science is already covered so you just have to read the NCERT. The English and physical education are tricky but the syllabus was completed before the mid-sem. Actually, there was nothing much more board, my main focus was my NEET exam.
Pavit Singh: Online was not a very big setback to me. Even in class 11, I like to study from online videos. So. I was familiarized with all that. The only problem with online preparation is that it was boring. You have your friends and teachers in your coaching and schools, suddenly you are all alone at home. However, online preparation is not a big problem because when you are committed and dedicated you know you have to do this. I know this online preparation is a bit distracting, many times I myself got distracted but I think you have to keep telling yourself about your aim and be motivated.
Pavit Singh: I have enrolled myself in Allen for the 2-year classroom.
Pavit Singh: My schedule is not fixed. I love watching TV, I remember I use to watch TV for 3 hours approximately. It does not affect your study, until and unless you waste your time. I use to take breaks, go on a walk with my mother. I never have a fixed timetable.
Pavit Singh: There are certain topics, which are strong and weak for me, not any subject. In physics, semiconductors are my biggest weakness. In chemistry, inorganic is used to create problems for everyone.
Pavit Singh: Actually, in my case, it was not a month before, it was almost a week before. In the last week, my mother had taken her off. For seven days I was with my mother, we are totally together and I think I have revised the entire syllabus in the last week. I was totally focused during the last week of preparation. The last week’s preparation pushed my level of confidence.
Pavit Singh: That day I didn’t study much, I just revised a few topics. A few hours before the exam, I was feeling quite depressed, and too anxious. Then, I went to my grandparents and chatted then I was very relaxed.
Pavit Singh: Of course, AIIMS, Delhi. Nothing at the moment, I think MBBS will give a broader idea of what I like, I think I am inclined towards the surgery but again I don’t know if I would like to pursue it in the next five years.
Pavit Singh: You should always be focused and remember your goal, take breaks, There are many times when you feel demotivated, so that is the time you have to find the strength inside of you. You have to keep reminding yourself that I am worthy and I can do this. It is very important to have faith in yourself. You can achieve your goal.

Hello aspirant,
This kind of name order difference between your Class 10 marksheet and Aadhaar is quite common and usually does not cause serious issues for NEET 2026 . While filling the NEET form, always enter your name exactly as it appears on the Class 10 marksheet, since it is the main reference document. During counselling, if asked, you can explain the difference and keep a simple affidavit or supporting ID ready to confirm both names belong to you.
Hope the details will help you.
