The National Testing Agency has established the NEET Total Marks 2024 to 720. These NEET total marks are distributed as follows: 360 marks allocated to Biology, 180 marks designated for Physics, and another 180 marks for Chemistry. NTA specifies the NEET UG passing marks, as well as, marks to qualify for the medical entrance exam. NEET is an undergraduate medical entrance examination for granting admission to medical UG courses across the country.

As per the above details, Class 12 aspirants must secure the NEET qualifying marks to be eligible for the further admission process. Candidates can check the NEET pass mark 2024 required to qualify in the test from the below-listed points.
- The NEET qualifying marks for General category candidates is 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12 or equivalent exam

The total questions in NEET Biology is different whereas, the number of questions in Physics and Chemistry is the same. NEET Chemistry and Physics comprises 50 questions (45 need to be attempted) which means the NEET 2024 total marks for Physics and Chemistry are 180 marks. The question paper of NEET 2024 for Biology consists of 100 questions (90 need to be attempted) and has 360 marks which will be half of the total questions asked. Other than NEET some state colleges use their own entrance exam like MHT CET, CUET, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, KCET, KEAM, and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for pharmacy.

If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.
NRI students can apply NEET UG under NRI category. Your daughter will be applying for seats under AIQ quota i.e 15% seats only .some states dont give reservation to NRI like Karnataka but some states like gujarat has NRI reservation.while considering colleges check specific eligibility criteria of the medical colleges you are applying to, as there may be minor variations in their NRI admission policies.

There is no other major government examination in India that overlaps with the NEET syllabus to provide similar careers in the medical field. NEET is, however the gateway to medical and dental colleges in the country.
In case you wish to pursue other fields of science, here are your options:
1. Engineering:
JEE Main: This examination offers entry to engineering colleges, providing a vast number of courses in engineering.
2. Other Related Health Sciences:
