Aspirants must have completed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college/institute of India and also possess an MBBS pass certificate.
Aspirants should obtain a 12-month rotatory internship completion certificate issued on or before March 31, 2025.
Candidates must provide the permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
Aspirants must know it is mandatory to secure the minimum NEET PG 2025 cutoff. The cutoff percentile is mentioned in the table below.

An aspirant must have completed four years of service in a very difficult area (Category 1) or 6 full services in a difficult area or an appropriate combination of both.
In case, a candidate has completed five years of service, then they should have completed it in the most difficult area or three full services in the difficult areas.
The period of rural service shall be computed as on March 31, 2025.
The Punjab PG medical 2025 application is made available online by BFUHS. For 50% of state quota seats and private colleges, only applicants who submit a Punjab NEET PG application form will be considered. Only those NEET PG qualifying candidates with state domicile can access the Punjab NEET PG application form for 2025. Candidates must pay the application fee to submit their application completely. The authority prepares and publishes the Punjab NEET PG merit list 2025 online based on the applicants' NEET PG scores and the information provided in the application. Each category's merit list for the Punjab NEET PG 2025 is released separately. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list is qualified to participate in the counselling process. The Punjab NEET PG merit list also includes the candidate's All India Rank, state rank, percentage, and names.
Authorities conduct the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025 online in three rounds and a stray vacancy round. Aspirants are required to provide the names of the colleges and the courses they are interested in during the Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling. Preferences, state merit rank, and the availability of seats determine admission to MD/MS programmes. Aspirants who receive seats must report to the allotted college to verify and finish the admissions process.
At the time of the Punjab NEET PG counselling, applicants who are admitted to any college through All India counselling must present original certificates or letters of consent from the chosen college. The University at any time revoke the applicant's admission if it is determined that they do not meet the requirements of the University or the notifications issued by the Punjab Government.
The candidates are required to pay the tuition fee at the Punjab NEET PG counselling venue in the form of a demand draft made payable to the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, payable at Faridkot. If any candidate fails to do so, his/her provisional selection are treated as cancelled without any intimation to the candidate.
