Punjab PG Medical Admission 2019 - Baba Faridkot University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has started registrations for stray vacancy rounds on May 10. The government of India had slashed the NEET PG 2019 cutoff by 6 percentile. All eligible candidates, including newly eligible ones, can participate in stray vacancy rounds of Punjab PG medical counselling 2019. Last date to register for stray vacancy round is May 15. Counselling for stray vacancy will be conducted on May 17 at Senate Hall, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot from 10.00 am onward. The Government of India in consultation with MCI has lowered the qualifying percentile of NEET PG 2019 by 6 percentile across all categories. It also directed the states/UTs to prepare revised merit lists based on the new qualifying marks. The revised merit list is to be used for filling vacant seats in remaining rounds of counselling.

BFUHS Faridkot published the provisional selection list of PG medical/dental courses after second round of Punjab PG medical 2019 counselling on April 29. The authority has earlier released the list of vacant seats for MD/MS/Diploma after completion of Punjab PG medical counselling (Round 2) on first day (or April 25). Candidates who have been allotted seats on April 25 will be considered as joined, and are required to report at the allotted college latest by May 3. The second round of counselling is being held from April 24-26. The counselling will be conducted quota/ seat/college- wise, course-wise and also as per the rank of the candidate (consult the table below for full details). Counselling will commence from 9 am onward and in offline mode. It must be noted that any candidate who is allotted a seat in physical (second) round can't participate in mop-up and stray vacancy rounds, if any. Registration for 2nd round of Punjab PG medical counselling 2019 closed on April 21.

Punjab PG Medical/MDS 2019 application form is closed; it was open in online mode from March 30 till April 3 (2 pm), extended from April 2. Punjab PG Medical 2019 application form was open to NEET PG 2019 qualified candidates for admission to government as well as private medical colleges of Punjab. Through Punjab PG medical admission 2019, around 188 MD/MS seats will be filled under 50% state quota scheme. While the remaining 50% seats from all the government colleges will be reserved for All India Quota seats. The provisional merit list of Punjab PG medical 2019 will be released on April 5.
Aspirants can fill the application form in online mode only. Based on the NEET PG scores filled in the application form, the Punjab PG medical merit list 2019 will be prepared by the authority. The counselling process will be conducted on the basis of rank included in the merit list. The seat allotment process will be done in the offline mode only. Revised merit list with lowered cutoff likely to be released for remaining rounds of Punjab PG medical/dental counselling. It follows an announcement by the GOI stating that it is lowering the NEET 2019 qualifying cutoff for all categories by 6 percentile. The counselling and seat allotment process of Punjab PG medical/dental for upcoming rounds will be based on this revised merit list only.
Admission authority has released the seat allotment result of Punjab PG medical/MDS 2019 for 2nd round of counselling. The allotment has been made based on the state merit rank of the candidate and choices opted for admission. The list of vacant seats left at the end of second round of counselling has also been released.
The list of vacant seats for MS/MD/Diploma courses for 2nd round of Punjab PG medical counselling 2019 at the end of April 25 has been released. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to report at allotted college by May 3.
Registration for second round of Punjab PG medical counselling 2019 closed on April 21; fee could be deposited up to April 22. The counselling is conducted from April 24-26. The counselling is conducted quota/seat/college and course wise; the merit rank of candidates also is another criteria. On April 24, counselling will be conducted for MDS course for NEET PG qualified candidates (full details is explained in above table)
BFUHS, Punjab is conducting the counselling of Punjab PG medical 2019 in offline mode only. Punjab PG medical 2019 counselling is being conducted in two rounds. After the second round, if any seats will be left vacant, then the mop-up round will be conducted.
The first round of counselling was conducted from April 6 to 8, 2019. The provisional seat allotment list of Punjab PG medical admission 2019 has been released and is also available on this page above. The second round will commence from third week of April. During Punjab PG medical counselling 2019, candidates have to provide their preferences of colleges as well as courses. Based on these preferences, state merit rank and seats available, the admission to MD/MS courses will be granted. Candidates who will be allotted seats must report to the respective college for verification purpose and completion of admission process. Aspirants whose name will be included in the merit list are eligible for counselling process. The rank list displays the name of candidates, All India Rank, state rank and percentile.
Punjab PG Medical Seat Matrix 2019

Before filling the application form, it is important for aspirants to go through the Punjab PG medical 2019 eligibility criteria to check whether they are eligible or not. Below are the basic eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled.
Candidates must have completed MBBS degree from any recognised medical college/institute of India and also possess a MBBS pass certificate
Aspirants should obtain 12 months rotatory internship completion certificate issued on or before March 31, 2019
Applicants must furnish the permanent registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)

BFUHS, Punjab has released the Punjab PG medical 2019 application form on March 30; the application form is available in online mode only and has to be filled by April 3 (2 pm). Only candidates who will fill the application form of Punjab PG medical 2019 will be considered eligible for 50% state quota seats. The application form is open to NEET PG 2019 qualified candidates who hold state domicile. It is mandatory to pay the application fee of Rs. 5000 for General candidates and Rs. 2500 for SC/ST/OBC aspirants for successful submission of application form.
