Is FMGE test is necessary to be passed to start internship in India ? Ihave passed my MBBS from YSMU Yerevan Armenia

anirudha vats 12th Apr, 2021

Hey,

The answer to your question is a mandatory Yes.

The MCC  has made it a law that students pursuing MBBS needs to give exam in order to get licence as a doctor.

The same applies to students pursuing their MBBS degree from foreign countries. They need to clear the FMGE Test in order to get the licence to practice in India. If they won't pass in the exam they won't be able to practice as doctors in India.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
