Foreign Medical Graduates Examination
Eligibility certificate is important for FMGE and is compulsory. But for the students of 2013 batch its an exception and you will not need any eligibility certificate for that.

After coming to India, you will have to appear for FMGE. It is held twice a year, both in the month of June and December. The application fee is 6490.
The eligibility criteria for FMGE is as followed:
- You must be an Indian Citizen.
- Medical degree must be confirmed by the concerned Indian Embassy.
If you fulfill these criteria, then you are eligible.

NWAC valid score of 12th exam is valid for appearing National entrance for science test in mediFMGE foreign medical graduate examination.This examination is ahead for getting registration in MCI of India /state Council of Medical Association for practicing in India and . The states of India candidate who have passed NWAC board exam 12th class has to clear any of the AIU exam.
That is why you are eligible for or NEST Fmge exam for practicing in India under MCI.

The produce the original documents as listed in acknowledgment for verification in the office of Delhi Medical Council within one month from the date of online submission of application. Please note in case one month has lapsed for original document verification kindly submit the affidavit of Rs. 10 stamp paper stating the reason for delay.

The MCC has made it a law that students pursuing MBBS needs to give exam in order to get licence as a doctor.
The same applies to students pursuing their MBBS degree from foreign countries. They need to clear the FMGE Test in order to get the licence to practice in India. If they won't pass in the exam they won't be able to practice as doctors in India.
