Can we revaluate results? Jun 2019 paper

Diksha gupta 1st Aug, 2019

Hi,

Keeping which exam in mind are you asking about re-evaluation of results. If you are asking about intermediate or your college exam results ,yes you can get them re- evaluated by paying certain amount of fees .

But if you are talking about competitive exams like NEET,JEE,AIIMS etc sorry you cannot get your results re-evaluated. Only thing which can be done is - you can send objection on questions which were wrong or their options were wrong during a stipulated period of time on the official website.

Hello . Good morning. Yes you can work in India . Depending upon your branch ( like what you have studied in your UG ) , there are different criteria. You might need to give test in some cases.

Example in case of Medical field , you need to go through a test conducted by MCI. MCI is Medical Council of India. Anyone who has done MBBS from abroad need to go through this test in order to get  license in India.

which exam is mandatory for foreign studying students to practise in india from now on. After the bill is passed 1 week ago?

Yash Dev Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the authority conducting the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination or FMGE 2019. An assessment exam, FMGE 2019, will evaluate Indian nationals with a medical degree from any country outside India. Implemented since 2002, the entrance examination of FMGE 2019 will be mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in order to be able to practice in India. FMGE is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. Aspirants qualifying FMGE 2019 will be able to obtain a permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council (SMC) or the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The application form of FMGE 2019 for June session has been released by the authority on April 15. The last date to fill the form is May 6, 2019. FMGE 2019 admit card will be released by June 21 in online mode. While the result will be announced by July 31, 2019.

I am doing medical ug in Russia. If i became a medical practitioner in US / Uk/ Canada, can I need to clear fmge?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019
Dear Gokul, FMGE is the entrance exanination for Medical Graduates who have completed their MBBS abroad but want to practise in India. In other words, FMGE is only for India. For countries like USA, UK and Canada, they have their own license examinations. FMGE is irrelevant in those countries.

I am doing medical ug in Russia. If i did pg in USA/ UK / CANADA. Do i need to clear FMGE to practice in India?

Yash Dev Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019
Medical Council of India (MCI) which is also known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) in India. MCI Examination is compulsory for those Indian students who have pursued MBBS from abroad. The MCI Screening Test was first brought in the year 2002 for the Indian students who have attained a degree of medicine from the country other than India such as Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, China, Bangladesh, Barbados, Philippines, Caribbean countries etc. The Medical Schools should have been listed in the WHO International Directory of Medical Schools.

For those students who complete their MBBS from abroad and want to further practice in India, it is compulsory to give MCI Examination for them so that they can start their professional life in India as well. Once you clear this exam, you will be equivalent from those who have done their MBBS from India. Only then you are allowed to choose your career in the field of medicine.
The MCI Screening test is conducted to keep a check on basic concepts, common sense, application of concepts, and ability to check the time management. This exam is not about each and every detail of the study material of MBBS. The test is taken just to check if you are familiar with the core data.
After clearing MCI Screening Test, the students need to carry out 1 year of internship to fulfill the eligibility criteria. If not done, the students will remain to be unemployed in India.
There is no bar on the number of attempts for giving this exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to pass MCI Screening test for a candidate is 50% marks. The aspirants who qualify the MCI Screening Test can apply to Medical Council of India, New Delhi or State Medical Council for his/her permanent or provisional registration.
MCI Screening Test is known to be a very challenging exam as it needs a lot of practice. Only 19% of the candidates are able to clear this test if we see this statistically. If we compare the graphic representation from 2005 to 2015, there had been a huge fall from around 80% of the Indian medical students from International Universities passing the mandatory MCI Screening Test

Hello Mamta,

The Anna Medical College, Mauritius has a very good reputation considering all the aspects whether it be the students, the infrastructure or the placements .But every college has good as well as bad students .It solely depends upon the student and how much effort he/she puts in MBBS course whether he /she  clears the screening test or not .One has to put extra efforts to clear the screening test .

All the best for your future .Hope I have resolved  your query .

I did my m.b.b.s in Philippines.. after I just give Fmge last month.. if I will pass than what should do i next ?

Animesh Vats Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Hi Manasvi,

If you have completed your MBBS from Philippines then it becomes mandatory for you to take the FMGE exam in order to practice in India.

It does not matter whether your college is MCI approved or not, all foreign graduates have to give FMGE exam.

After you have passed the FMGE exam then you need to register yourself as a practitioner in India. You need to register with MCI as an doctor to practice in India.

I hope this information helps.

All the best.
