Athira 10th Jul, 2019

Hi aspirant.

As per NEET PG brochure for instance say about the matter-

"Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination(Screening Test) which is conducted by National Board of Examinations. Further, they should have been registered with MCI/SMC and should have completed their internship .

Foreign Medical Graduates are required to bring their FMGE Pass certificate issued by NBE on their testing day.

If you belong to Gujarat state then you are eligible to apply.

Hope this helps.

Can Nepali doctors get a license and work in india as medical officers?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Feb, 2019
Dear Yojana, at this point in time, there are no such provisions for allowing Foreign medical graduates to work in India. But MCI issues temporary eligibility for those eligible Foreign Medical graduates to practise in India. The Institute hat you studied Medicine should be recognised by Medical Council of India(MCI). I remember you telling me that your college is in the process of being recognised whereas the affliated University is MCI recognised. For checking the possibility of getting a temporary eligibility from MCI you might have to reach out to your Embassy.
