Dear Rubee, you are required to score a minimum of 50% marks to be considered qualified for the exam. Since the exam is conducted for a total of 300 marks, therefore, you must score at least 150 marks in order to qualify for the exam. The candidates who will qualify the exam will be considered eligible to obtain provisional or permanent registration from the State or Medical Council of India.

Dear Archana, Ideally candidates who have pursued their undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses from Australia, Canada, UK, USA and New Zealand needn't appear for FMGE. They can directly register their degrees with MCI. As your Post graduation is from UK, you needn't appear for FMGE for your Post Graduation. But in your case as you have your Undergraduate degree from South Africa, it is important that you appear for FMGE to get your Undergraduation registered and be recognised as a Medical Practioner in India.

You can get another copy of your admit card in the same way as you got the original one. If the approach doesn't work , you can visit the official website and get their helpline number. Call and tell them about your problem, they will provide you immediate assistance.

Results are usually withheld due to failure to submit proper documents. NBE would soon release a file regarding the documents that you might have to submit to get your results released. You can keep the tab on it by regularly visiting the official website.

FMGE December exam was conducted on 14 December, 2018. Result of the exam has been announced on 4 January 2019 and the result of 2,976 candidates has been withheld by the authorities until further notice from NBE. 

There might be a possibility that the result of such candidates who have not submitted the complete documents have been withheld.

So, you should wait for further notification by the authorities.

Sometimes the results are withheld due to lack of proopr documents. NBE will soon release a file with name of documents which you might need to submit to get your results released. Keep checking the official website for regular updates.

Dear Aruhi, there is no change in the FMGE exam pattern. It will happen as per schedule. For June 2019 session, slots Registrations and scheduling will open in the 2nd week of April and the registration will close by 2nd week of May. Around the same time, the correction window opens. The admit cards will be released 24hours after scheduling. The exam will be conducted during the second week of June and the results will be declared by third week of July. These are tentative dates. For exact dates, keep an eye on the official website. The pattern, timing and marking remain the same.
