Hi,

NEET is a National Eligibility Entrance Test is national level competitive exam, which is taken every year for candidates having dream of becoming a doctor. Through NEET score, they can take admission in various colleges like AIMS, KGMU etc.,

The validity of score in India for taking admission in colleges is only one year. Candidate needs to re-appear next year, if they do not want to pursue any colleges this year.

However, for foreign admissions, the score is valid for three years. Candidates can apply to any foreign universities or colleges accepting NEET score within the three years.

As you have appeared in NEET 2019, so yes it's valid upto 2022. After which, you need to re-appear in NEET for further eligibility.

As you have mentioned, you are going to appear in 2022, so if you score well, you can use your latest score for taking admission in various foreign universities. However, for India, it will be valid for only one year.

I suggest you to use NEET college predictor offered by Careers360 at: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

It will help you a lot during results time.

Thank you!

If you are a student studying abroad. Do you need a medical license to apply for FMGE or a medical degree?

Karishma Sawhney 26th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

According to the brochure released by NBE, the candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.

Hence, a candidate applying for the FMGE exam must possess a MBBS passing degree certificate. Without it, one cannot sit for the exam.

Here is a list of documents you must keep handy-

  1. Copy of Passport

  2. Copy of MBBS passing certificate certified by Indian Embassy

  3. Copy passing certificate of Class 12th

  4. Copy of internship certificate

  5. Copy of 12th mark sheet

  6. Two recent photographs

  7. Copy of address proof - PAN card/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport

  8. Equivalence certificate - from the Association of Indian Universities

  9. Eligibility certificate issued by the National Medical Council

You can visit the link given below for more details on FMGE exam- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/fmge-application-form

Hello Student

To solve this problem you have to wait at least 7 days to observe whether the payment is showing successfully done or not.You have to send an email to the bank authority from where your account is existing. You should place a request letter to the bank authority for your payment details statement from the respective date of the year. They will give you the account details one or two days within and he will understand if you payment for registration have  been done . Even the payment details showa that the payment has not be done then you have to request to the authority of the bank to complete the procedure of payment for  registration. They will do the needful at an early date.

Hope this will help.
