National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty

National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the new draft on PG Medical education rules for feeder qualifications that the candidates should possess in order to pursue super specialty, SS courses (DM, MCh ).
These regulations will come into force from the session of 2021-22. Most important regulation pertains to the selection of PG students by NExt, its score and continuation NEET PG as a gateway for MD, MS, PG diploma , DM, MCh admissions. Also, the candidates who have a degree in MD medicine or MD cardiology can apply for DM cardiology. MD medicine candidates can also apply for DM in clinical haematology, endocrinology, clinical immunology and rheumatology, medical gastroenterology, medical oncology, nephrology, neurology, etc.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality also known as NEET SS for admission to various DM/MCh (Doctorate of Medicine/Magister Chirurgiae) courses. NBE has announced the NEET SS 2021 exam date, November 13 and 14 but the application form dates are not yet released. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. NEET SS 2021 exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in two parts from 02:00 to 05:00 PM.
