Hello,

It Depends on the campus (Karaikal and Puducherry) and the category. For instance, the OBC cutoff was 592 in 2023, where as the general cut off for JIPMER Puducherry was around 277. The closing ranks for the Karaikal and Puducherry campuses in 2024 were around 2862 and 350, respectively.

With 388 marks OBC category, you have a slim chance of getting a government MBBS seat in Karnataka, mostly in less preferred colleges. You can get a seat in state counseling rounds and mop-up rounds, where cutoff may drop.
