Goa MBBS Counselling 2020 - The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bardez, will conduct the first round of counselling of Goa MBBS 2020 in the first week of July. The second round of Goa NEET counselling 2020 will be conducted in the second week of August.The counselling for Goa MBBS/BDS 2020 will be held in offline mode only. A total of three rounds of Goa MBBS counselling 2020 will be conducted including a mop-up round. All the candidates who will be included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in Goa MBBS 2020 counselling process along with relevant documents. A candidate needs to clear NEET UG 2020 to appear for the Goa MBBS Counselling for 2020.

The counselling committee will allot around 180 MBBS and 40 BDS seats under 85% state quota seats in 1 medical and 1 dental college of the state and Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), is responsible for conducting 15% of the All India quota seats. Goa MBBS 2020 Counselling Procedure

  • The counselling procedure of Goa MBBS for 2020 will be conducted in offline mode.

  • The counselling will be conducted for candidates to fill seats under general, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, PH, CSP, ESM, GN categories and for more details on it find the table mentioned below.

  • Three rounds of counselling will be conducted by the authority and after the completion of these three rounds, a mop-up round will also be conducted to fill up the vacant seats.

  • Since there is only one medical and dental college in the state, therefore, candidates will not be able to provide their preferences of colleges. However, they will be asked to give their preferences in terms of course they want to study.

  • Documents that a candidate need to carry along with them are listed below:

  1. Two recent passport size photographs

  2. Class 12 pass certificate

  3. Class 12 marks sheet

  4. NEET 2020 score card

  5. Resident Certificate

  6. Resident relaxation certificate

  7. Reservation Certificate (if applicable)

  8. Birth certificate

  9. Transfer Certificate

  10. Eligibility certificate from Goa University (for applicants other than Goa Board)

  11. Income certificate (if applicable)

  12. Copy of Aadhar Card

  13. Copy of Goa MBBS Application Form 2020

  14. Acknowledgement card affixed with recent photograph

  15. Copy of NEET 2020 Admit Card

  • Candidates must carry their admission cards which they will receive after the payment of application fee.

  • Time allotment for candidates belonging to different categories are different.

  • Goa MBBS admission 2020 will be given on the basis of the NEET 2020 score, seats availability, reservation criteria, preferences given by the candidate and various other factors.

Goa MBBS Counselling 2020 Result

The result of the first round of Goa MBBS counselling 2020 will be released approximately in the second week of July. Applicants will get to know about their respective ranks after the conclusion of Goa MBBS 2020 counselling session but the overall list of ranks will be released after the completion of all three rounds including the mop up round.

Goa MBBS Seat Allotment 2020

Students will be given the necessary time to report to the allotted college and submit the original copy of the documents and pay the admission fees, after the conclusion of all the rounds of Goa MBBS counselling 2020. Only those candidates who will report to the allotted college within the allotted time will be considered for Goa MBBS admission for 2020, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled. Goa MBBS BDS Cutoff 2020

The Directorate of Technical Education, Bardez will be responsible for releasing the Cutoff list for Goa MBBS 2020 for 85% of the state quota seats. The merit list will be released in the second week of August 2020. The cutoff on NEET 2020 will indicate lowest marks and rank which will be taken into consideration for admission to the colleges in the state of Goa for Goa MBBS 2020 cutoff is expected to come out in the second week of August 2019 after the completion of counselling process. Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will be releasing the merit list for the 15% All India Quota seats. The cutoff marks will give the aspirants an estimate of the score needed to get admission in the college preferred by them. The cutoff depends on several other factors like the number of seats available, the number of candidates who will take NEET 2020 and number of candidates going for Goa MBBS 2020 admission.

l have uploaded the passport size and postcard size photos without date and name for neet 2020. Should l add name and date with photos? Is this possible to correct?

Hi Garima,

For the NEET UG 2020 application form, the correction window will be open from January 15, 2020 to January 31, 2020. For correction of documents, photographs, signature and thumb impression, you need to have prior notification from the NTA. If you do not have it, you cannot edit them and your form will most likely be accepted.

i have secured 15705 rank in neet mds 2020. can i get private colleges in south. my interest is in prostho and endo.

You have secured a average rank in NEET MDS 2020. As per your rank and previous year cutoff, you will get private colleges with this rank. You will not get any college with prostho and endo branch.

You will get different branches in private colleges. Some of them are mentioned below:

what if I am able to crack neet? and not able to get marks so if I drop . will it be a problem ??

Hello dear student,

Please don't worry and do not think negative as you will crack you need if you prepare well and still there is a lot of time in your hands. I would suggest you to solve previous year question papers and MCQs as much as possible because that will help you to get marks. And also if you drop next year for the preparation of Neet that will not cause any problem to you need results of that year.

Has NEET application form correction started?

Ruma, NTA has opened NEET correction window from January 15th to January 31st. To make corrections, Login to the official website: ntaneet.nic.in with your NEET registration number and Password. Now click on " Correction in NEET application form" and make the desired changes to your application form. Any correction pertaining to the photograph and signature of the candidate will be intimated through e-mail/SMS and the same will be available in the candidate’s login account. Rest of the fields like Father's name, Mother's name, Date of Birth, Category, Gender can be changed during the correction window. Once the correction window has been closed,  NTA does not guarantee that any request for change in information will be entertained. So it is the best thing to make a note of all the corrections that you need to make when the correction window opens from January 15th to 31st and click on the "Final Submit" only after making all the changes that you want to. Once you click on "Submit", enter the OTP number and take a print out for future reference.
