The INI CET 2025 exam date was May 17. Check the latest updates on the INI CET 2025 exam from the article below.
INI CET 2025 July session exam conducted on May 17, 2025 from 9 AM to 12 PM in computer based mode.
The AIIMS Delhi has issued an instruction for the aspirants appearing for INI CET 2025 exam on May 17, 2025. As per the issued instruction, all the aspirants have been advised to make their necessary travel plans in advance for the INICET May 2025 exam.
Currently, there is no official confirmation from the AIIMS, New Delhi, regarding the INI CET exam postponed 2025. The official AIIMS examination portal (aiimsexams.ac.in) continues to list the exam date as May 17. Also, the INI CET 2025 admit card has been released on May 10, 2025.
However, speculation about a potential postponement of INI CET 2025 exam has intensified due to the escalating India-Pakistan conflict, which began with “Operation Sindoor”. Historically, AIIMS has postponed INI CET exam on previous occasions. And AIIMS is expected to release a notice regarding the postponement of INI CET 2025 exam date soon.
The main reasons which speculated that INI CET 2025 exam July session was the war tension between India and Pakistan. This conflict led to significant disruptions, particularly in northern and western India, which were key regions for INI CET exam centres. Some of the supporting reasons that hint towards a possible postponement of INICET May 2025 exam are as follows:
The INI CET is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted at multiple centres across India. States like Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana have implemented strict security measures, including school and college closures in border districts such as Ferozepur, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ganganagar, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer. These closures directly affect the exam centres of INI CET 2025.
Civilian flights in some northern states have been stopped, and airports in places like Amritsar, Chandigarh, and Jammu have had to close for a bit. Train services in Jammu and Udhampur are also being checked for safety. These issues might make it hard for students to get to their INI CET 2025 exam centres, especially if they're coming from other states.
Delhi and other major cities are on high alert, with civil defence drills, including air-raid sirens and evacuations, conducted on May 7. Technical issues, such as internet disruptions or power outages in such major cities, can affect the conduct of a CBT exam like INI CET 2025.
The INI CET exam postponed 2025 is also likely to happen, considering that several other examinations have been postponed. The ICAI CA exams scheduled for May 9–14, 2025, have been postponed due to the “tense and security situation” caused by India-Pakistan tensions. Similarly, the COMEDK UGET 2025 and HPCET 2025 exams are also postponed. The CUET UG 2025 has also been rescheduled from May 8–June 1 to May 13–June 3, 2025, partly due to security concerns.

On Question asked by student community
Hello,
Based on previous INI-CET trends , a UR rank around 25,686 usually does not get a Microbiology seat in AIIMS institutes.
In most years, Microbiology in AIIMS closes at a much better (lower) rank for the unreserved category. Only the very last round in some years has gone close to this range, and even that is rare. Seats are few, and most AIIMS fill Microbiology well before this rank.
You may still keep hope for the open or mop-up rounds , as small movements can happen, but the chances remain low based on past data.
You can use our INI-CET College Predictor Tool to predict which colleges you can get based on your score and rank.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
If your employer refuses sponsorship, you cannot apply for a sponsored seat in INI-CET or DNB. Sponsorship is given only by the parent organisation.
You can consider these options:
Apply in the general category (no sponsorship needed).
Take Extraordinary Leave (EOL) or leave without pay to do PG.
Submit a written request asking the institute to reconsider sponsorship.
Check your institute’s rules, because many autonomous bodies have strict conditions for sponsored study leave.
There is no alternate authority that can sponsor you if your own organisation denies it.
Hope it helps !

Hello,
It's highly unlikely you will get a clinical seat at AIIMS Mangalagiri with an INI CET All India Rank (AIR) of 19600 in the general category based on previous year's cutoff trends. The closing ranks for most competitive clinical branches in the general category at AIIMS Mangalargi typically close much earlier, often within the first few hundred to a couple of thousand ranks.
I hope it will clear your query!!
