Step 2: NEET SS Counselling 2026: Choice filling and locking

Candidates who completed the registration for the NEET SS counselling 2026 need to fill and lock in their choices for the course and college. The authority opens the NEET SS choice-filling window in online mode. Candidates must note that seat allotment will be based on the choices filled by them. After the choice filling, aspirants are required to lock their choices for the final submission. If not, choices will be locked automatically.

NEET SS Counselling 2026 Round 1

All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET SS conducted are eligible for NEET SS round 1 counselling 2026. Candidates who are allotted in as per the NEET SS round 1 allotment result can report to their allotted college. If any candidate is not satisfied with their allotment, they can upgrade for round 2 NEET SS counselling 2026.

Candidates who are holding/have joined a seat in round-1 or round-2 of All India counselling or In service candidates who have obtained a seat in Tamil Nadu state counselling are not eligible for the stray round of NEET SS 2026 counselling.
