A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. There is no upper age limit.

Dear Arnab, yes. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to AIIMS New Delhi and all of its branches and JIPMER Pondicherry and its Koraikal campus as well. So now you will have to write only NEET even if you want to get admission to AIIMS and JIPMER as well.

Yes dear,  now there is no more AIIMS and Jipmer entrance exam,  now only neet exam is there for getting admission in medical colleges.  Even admission in AIIMS and Jipmer will be through neet only , so medical aspirants need to prepare for neet only now. So

Hello,

Yes, now onwards the sole entrance exam for MBBS shall be NEET.

Earlier,  AIIMS, and JIPMER used to conduct their own entrance, which will no longer take place.

The common entrance test for MBBS shall be NEET.

From, 2020-2021 session onwards, this shall be applicable.

At present, there are 13 AIIMS colleges in India  that grant admission to MBBS courses offered by them through the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam was conducted on 25th and 26th May 2019 in an online or computer-based mode.

Dear Harsh, AIIMS is an autonomous Institution. It is not a Deemed University. It has been established as an institution of national importance by an Act of importance. AIIMS is an autonomous government public Medical College of highrr Education. It doesnt come under Deemed Institution but is an autonomous body.
