I got 78% and i belong to OBC how much should i get for admission in aiims

Hello Abhishek,

The eligibility criteria for AIIMS 2019 is that a student has to score 60% ( for unreserved and OBC) and 50% ( for SC/ST) aggregate in their 12th exam PCB. Since you already got 78% you are eligible to sit for AIIMS exam.

For AIIMS you have to score minimum 60% marks if you belong to general or OBC  category wheras for SC/DT/OPH minimum 50% marks are required to apply for AIIMS entrance exam.

Dear Virender, for General Category candidates the minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English should be 60%. If your aggregate is 58%, unfortunately, you don't qualify to appear for AIIMS MBBS. But you are still eligible for NEET if your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is atleast 50%.

Every year some seats are reserved for foreign students in AIIMs for MBBS. The admission is done on the basis of common entrance exam i.e;NEET exams. For foreign students the eligibilty criteria is :50% MARKS in physics, chemistry, biology in his/her 12th exams. Best of luck for

Dear Irfan, there are approximately 1157 MBBS seats available in AIIMS including all its branches. Last year, it was 807 but around 7 new branches have been addes increasing the total by 350. As per AIIMS MBBS reservation policy, 600 seats belong to General Category, 321 seats for OBC candidates,

Yes you can absolutely write the AIIMS entrance examination. Candidates must have passed class 12th examination or equivalent from any recognized board. Hi Priyansh,

Yes certainly it's less likely for the eligibility criteria on Mark's in qualifying exam  to change by 2020. Most of the time it's the pattern of question paper which is changed.
