currently I am going to nepal for mbbs so after doing that what should I do to practise in india ? also can I give pg exam or ms exam in india before passing fmge exam held by MCI. I am very very confused and overwhelmed. I never wanted to go nepal for mbbs but family pressure won I guess

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 12th Jan, 2020

Anshu, once you complete your MBBS, you have to appear for FMGE. Post your succesful clearing of FMGE exam, you can practise in India. You cannot give NEET PG before you clear FMGE. And if you are going to Nepal this year, the NEET PG exam will be scrapped within 3 years and there will be another admission process for PG courses. NMC will come up with a new admission process within the next 3 years which means any news that you absorb now will be changed by the time you come back with a MBBS degree. And regarding your last sentence, sometimes life is strange and you do not know which door opens which opportunity. Just go ahead and take the opportunity that your parents are giving you. It might change your life for good.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019

You need not upload your documents for FMGE application. You need to send them to NBE. You need to mail the documents at  fmge.cc@natboard.edu.in  from your registered email id. Though the last date for submitting the application form is October 31st, you can mail the documents even after 31st, October.

Sir / Maam Jipmer Pg counseling requires Transfer certificate & Migration certificate ,how do they differ in content? I passed from a Foreign Medical college, they provided me with a Transfer certificate only. Will it suffice ?

NAVNEET PANDEY 31st Dec, 2019

If you have transfer certificate then it will enough for the admission,it means you have completed the course so you don't need to stress out.

Migration certificate is issued after you finish the university exam.

i have made a silly mistake of uploading signature in capital letters ...although the size of the first letter is big enough compared to the rest of the letters. and I use the same signature in my passport and other documents. will my application form will be rejected?? and what should i do now?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 10th Nov, 2019

You are being worried over nothing. There is no specified mentioned pattern of signature. It is your personal way of writing down your name and it can be in any form. Only that matters is you uploading the signature following the instructions. So do not worry about. FMGE doesn't have any specific guidelines as not how to sign. It has only guidelines as how to upload your signature. So do not worry about this and continue to prepare for the exam.

I had filled fmge form this type but in the editing window again when I was correcting my mistakes I forgot to edit my provisional upload and form saved automatically so what can I do will my form be accepted or not?

Rajat Singh Chauahan 23rd Dec, 2019

NCE had already given a window to make corrections or editing the form with the notice that no further chance will be given for further corrections. However you can always contact the authority to unlock your profile for correction. You can mail it call them, citing the technical issue that you faced and that it wasn't really your fault
