i am foreign medical graduate applying for fmge december 2019 got semister back due to failing in some subjects.but later i passed them. i want to know do i falll under rusticate category .

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Oct, 2019

Dear Raj, if you fell behind your semesters because you failed in few subjects, you do not fall under Rusticated Category. Rusticated Category is for those Students who have been suspended from College for whatsoever reasons. The criteria to appear for FMGE is that you have to complete your MBBS by clearing all subjects and mandatorily complete the 1 year internship atleast by March 31st, 2020. Rest all is good.

Im doing my MBBS from Armenia.Ill get my passing degree and certificate next year during last week of July. Can I appear for FMGE June2020?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Deepak, you havent mentioned whether you will complete your MBBS before June 2020 and if you will get your certificates by July 2020. Because the official notification of previous years states that Candidates should have to mandatorily provide the documents or proofs in support of them having passed the final examination. So unless you have the pass certificates, you may not be able to register for the exam. Which means you have to appear for December 2020 FMGE.
