fmge application correction window will open on second week of November. and you can change your fingerprint. however the information which you cannot change in the application form is,

Name of candidate

Date of birth

Nationality

Mobile number

Email address

Testing city

Passport size photograph

Signature uploaded

Dear Indraj, you cannot change the Email address during the correction window. And without being able to change the Email id, the whole application becomes unfortunately helpless because you cannot even receive any notifications. So it is better you register with a new email id and mobile number and fill the application form again.

Dear Meher, FMGE is routed to be one of the toughest examinations because of the level of importance. FMGE is an online test running for 2 Parts, Part A and Part B. Each section has 2 and 1/2 hour time duration for each part. There are 300 MCQs asked. 1 mark for the correct answer and no negative marking. Preparation: Last year approximately 14,000 Medical Graduates appeared for FMGE  and approximately 3000 Medical Graduates cleared the exam. You have to complete 19 subjects over a very short span of time. Remember that all you need to score is 150 to be qualified. It is just  screening examination and not an entrance examination. Join a coaching centre if possible, revise your notes, Check your progress by taking mock tests atleast once a week. Study additional books like FMGE Solutions by Deepak Marwah. Try to install apps like Prep Ladder, FMGE Solutions App, etc.

Dear Shobhit, you will have to resend the documents. And the list is:

1. MBBS Pass Certificate
2. MBBS Pass Certificate certified by the Embassy
3. Copy of Address proof like Voters Id, Passport, Ration Card
4. 2 photographs
5. Annexure B available on Information Brochure
6. Copy of Date of Birth
7. Copy of first and last pages of the Passport
8. Copy of 10+2 passing certificate
9. Copy of 10+2 marks sheet
10. Copy of internship certificate
11. Copy of eligibility certificate issued by MCI (If applicable)
12. Copy of fail certificate

Dear Roshini, when you are filling in the application form, you are not required to submit any documents. You will only need to fill in the application form giving your education and personal details. But once the application form is filled, you will need to take a print out of the confirmation page and then send it to NBE along with the required documents. These documents need to sent before November 31st, 2019. So, for now you can go ahead and complete the application form and send the documents when you get them but before November 31st. Dear Shreyanshi, that is not one of the reasons why your application would be rejected. Neverthless, if NBE considers that this needs to be rectified, you will receive a notification at your Registered Email and mobile number asking you to change your photograph by mentioning the required criteria. When the correction window opens during the first week of November, you can make those changes. But if you do not receive any such notification, please consider your application to be good.

Dear Shabana, ideally, errors in thumb impression and signature can be only rectified if NBE asks you to. NBE will send a notification to your registered email and mobile number asking you to rectify the mistakes. That is when you can make the necessary changes during the correction window. Please keep an eye on your Registered Email and mobile number.

Yes, there is FMGE examination for dental graduates also. The candidates seeking for registration in state or India dental council will have to appear for the examination and clear it with minimum marks.
