Foreign Medical Graduates Examination
Hello sir,
For fmge student have to take PG counselling for all India quota. They have to appear for an screening test, is called FMGE. But most of the state not allowed fmge scoring candidate to take admission in medical PG courses. Only the state of Chhattisgarh that allow the fmge candidate to take admission in medical PG courses in this state in condition they are the domicile of the state. Not mention your state where you are the sel status. Mention your state to answer clearly to meet queries about fmge scoring candidate to take admission in medical PG courses in that state through state quota.
Hi. FMGE exam is for candidates who are studying abroad- Russia, Phillipines and other countries. If a candidate wants to practice in India, they must complete their MBBS degree and after that give the exam. If you pass the exam, you will be required to do one year compulsory internship in a recognised hospital in India. Hope it helps!
Hi ma’am. After passing the FMGE exam, candidates are required to apply for an internship in an Indian Medical college for a period of one year. You can do so by applying online at MCC site and see the list of hospitals approved for candidates to do their compulsory internship. After that, you have to give an interview too. Hope it helps!

Any Indian citizen/overseas citizen of India holding a foreign medical degree cannot appear for MCI screening test/FMGE without an eligibility certificate issued by MCI, New Delhi.
Therefore obtaining an eligibility certificate from MCI ,New Delhi is mandatory for all the FMGE aspirants.
Hence FMGE aspirants should apply for eligibility certificate in the prescribed format given by MCI attached with a demand draft of a specified sum drawn in favor of secretary MCI ,New Delhi.
1. Original Matriculation Certificate showing D.O.B with 3 self-attested Xerox copies
2. Original 11th Class Mark Sheet with 3 self-attested Xerox copies
3. Original +2 Mark sheet & Pass Certificate with 3 self-attested Xerox copies
4. Original SC/ST/OBC Certificate with 3 self-attested Xerox copies
5. Original Proof of Admission in Foreign Medical University with 3 self-attested Xerox copies
Eligibility Certificate (EC): You shall be asked to provide
status of issuance of EC to you by MCI/NMC. If EC is
applicable in your case, you shall be required to upload the
same under document upload section. If you took admission
during the period when obtaining EC from MCI was not
required/was exempted by the Govt of India, you shall be
required to upload a copy of admission letter confirming the
exact date of admission to the primary medical qualification in
lieu of EC.
No candidate who has obtained admission in a Foreign Medical Institution on or after 15thMarch,2002 shall be permitted to sit for the Screening Test, after obtaining the medical degree from abroad, for the purpose of his registration in India, unless he produces the Eligibility Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India. Further details may be obtained from the office of the Medical Council of India, New Delhi and also may be seen in the website of the Council – www.mciindia.org.

As per the regulations led for FMGE exam, it is mandatory for all the candidates applying ,to submit all the required documents such as nationality details,photo ID proof details, marksheets, MBBS qualification details etc. And those who fail to submit these won't be considered for the session.
