Hello,
Indian students who opt for Undergraduate UG MBBS courses in countries outside India such as Ukraine, Russia, Phillipines, China, USA etc are categorised as foreign medical graduates (FMGs) and can apply for post-graduate PG degree seats in government-run colleges.
Foreign Medical Graduates can take part in counseling through AIQ ‘All India Quota’ only. There are almost no states in India that allow FMGs to participate in the state counseling.
I hope you find the answer helpful.
Thank you.
Hi,
After clearing your FMGE, you can apply for the position of DMO in a government hospital but you will be under full authority of a GP and you have to report your duties to him.
So don't dwell much into securing a government job, your first priority should be clearing your FMGE and securing a PG seat. It's tough I agree but not Impossible. Give your Best.
As a reminder, Don't just clear FMGE with passing marks , clear it with good scores because your FMGE score becomes your PG seat counselling criteria.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.

FMGE is foreign medical graduate examination. Those candidates are coming India from aborad to study medicine, then they have to clear this examination then they can get MCI registration and practice in India.
So if you failed your transaction for applying this form then you have to go to the bank where you did this transaction and talk to them. If money deducted and your transaction failed then don't worry you will get back your money from Bank. But once you have to talk to your Bank.
All the best.
Dear candidate
FMGE is a screening test for medical graduates to be eligible to practice medicine in the country. The exam is conducted biannually in the month of June and December for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) to get the registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).
As per the FMGE 2021 exam pattern, there were 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which were divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. The FMGE exam time duration of each part was of 150 minutes and there was a scheduled break in between the two parts. There is one marks for correct answer and no negative marks.
Candidates have to obtain at least 150 marks out of 300 in order to be eligible for FMGE June session 2021. After securing the minimum qualifying marks, applicants are eligible for issuing provisional or permanent registration from the NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).
so if you are asking about the scope then this exam is only conducted for giving you registrations number in india to practice as valid doctor if you have completed your mbbs abroad somewhere.
for pg seats you will have to give neet pg exam then if you obtain good marks you will get a seat in good department.
In FMGE you have to score 150+ marks for getting certificate there is no other uses of that.
