I would like to say that never estimate an competetive exam with certain decisions in mind,It is an All india entrance exam,so weightage from NCERT would be precisely more compared to other state entrance examinations/NEET.

As per the existing rules and regulations, private candidates are allowed to appear for AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS entrance examinations as neither of these institutions have any such restrictions as long as the candidate has completed Class 12 from a recognized Board.
