JIPMER MBBS is a highly competitive exam. JIPMER is easier than national-level medical entrance exams like NEET and AIIMS. However, because of huge number of students competing for only 200 seats, it is difficult to get admission in JIPMER. Candidates must finish the JIPMER MBBS syllabus thoroughly

Try scoring high as of 98.9+ percentile to have high probability of getting seats. Study hard and solve previous years papers first.

If you belong to the reserved categories then yes, you will have to submit the caste certificate to avail the relaxation in eligibility and cut off criteria but in case you are from general category then you will have to apply as an unreserved candidate only.

For a general candidate, it is advised to aim for more than 160 marks in JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam. 

Also, keep in mind that every incorrect answer will be awarded -1. So better be aware of negative marking and do not take blind guesses.
