Well if the eligibility criteria states that the practical tests are required then they are required.
Eligibility criteria means the minimum requirements required from any candidate. Maybe your internal assessment is like pratical tests and if yes then you can show that.

NEET and JIPMER exams are quite easy, if you start early and manage your time well. NEET exam pattern is as follows,
Total number of questions = 360
Physics = 45
Chemsitry = 45
Biology = 90 (Botony = 45, Zoology = 45)
This is a 180 minutes
JIPMER exam is quite different from NEET, and needs more time management and in-depth knowlwdge.
The pattern of the exam goes like this,
Total number of marks and questions = 200
Physics = 60
Chemistry = 60
Biology = 60
English language and Comprehension = 60
