Will jipmer ug 2021 have a separate entrance exam? Or the admission happen via Neet as in 2020

U. Janani 7th Jan, 2021

Hi Sekhar!

JIPMER used to have a separate exam of their own for the admission in Medical Courses! But now, they have totally scraped out that and NEET is the basic priority considered for admission. Only your NEET Score will get you admision in JIPMER. There are 2 JIPMER Colleges one in Puducherry and another in Karaikal. The former has 150 seats and the latter has 50 seats!

Hope this is helpful!

All the best!

what is the level of baslp jipmer entrance exam compaired to neet

Uttara 25th Dec, 2020

Hello,

Looking at the previous year trends baslp jipmer entrance exam has easy questions and the difficulty is similar to neet but what makes it more difficult than neet is that the competition increases based on the fact that the college accepting baslp jipmer entrance exam has less seats compared to the number of seat in colleges accepting neet scores.

Hello Balavidyashree
No as per the official notice AIIMS and JIPMER counselling is to be held by the MCC/DGHS itself.
You dont have to fill forms separately for AIIMS and JIPMER

jipmer mbbs ug 2019 cut off rank?

handukanika 4th Sep, 2020

Hello,
Till last year JIPMER used to conduct their own computer based entrance exam but from this year all the admissions to mbbs and bds courses will be done on the basis of NEET scores.
So estimating the cut off isn't easy , however you can aim for a NEET score of 550+ which will definately fetch you a mbbs seat at government medical college of your state.
Hope this helps
