CATE exam was earlier conducted for admission in English course for UG admissions in Delhi University. Now there is no entrance exam as it was scrapped in 2013. The admission is now based on 12th merit in DU for English courses and programmes.

It's bitter truth that your percentile and rank is not sufficient enough that you will get your desired college and branch. Moreover I suggest you to go for private colleges through management quota or drop this year and prepare for next year.
