Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test
Hey,
I think you are asking for the cut off of deemed university in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The minimum marks to be eligible for any deemed university is to secure 131 for general category, 120 for OBC category etc.
Rest depends upon the specific cut off for different colleges. I have attached a link of NEET 2019 counseling for the state of Rajasthan below,
https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan/amp
Hope that solves your concern.
Thank you.
Hello,
Based upon your SC category rank of 296, you have good chances for a government college for pursuing veterinary course. Now it all depends upon the RPVT cutoffs which are yet to be released. These change based upon various factors.
Wait for the cutoffs to be released.
Hello aspirant!
RPVT Seats 2020 - Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner releases the seats of RPVT 2020 along with the prospectus. Through RPVT 2020 seat matrix.
There are approximately 312 seats for RPVT across 6 B.V.Sc Colleges in Rajasthan. You haven't mentioned your Category. This is important to analyse your options. If you belong to General Category, the chances for a seat in Government College are tough. The reservations that are followed in RPVT are as follows:
SC: 16%
ST: 12%
OBC-NCL: 21%
OBC-NCL-Female-25%
NCL-MBC:5%
PWD-5%
General Category-Female: 25% of the remaining seats. With 350 even if you belong to Reserved Categories, a seat is difficult because in 2019, under ST Category, 377 marks secured a seat in Bikaner College. So it is a tough spot that you are in with a score of 312.but still don't loose hope give a try.
Good luck
Hope this will be helpful.
Thank you
Dear Aspirant,
I think admissions to veterinary are done on the basis of NEET
If you have state exam and if you are eligible through this exam the surely fill the counselling for and wait for results and through neet check below ,
You have not mention the category and state so that i could give you a specific answer, but i am telling in general.
As the cutoff last year was approx 520 and I do not think that cutoff will decrease after seeing the level of paper and the addition of more than 2lakh students for the same no. of seats.
So if you have to do bvsc this year you just have two options
1: Fill for state quota seats in your domicile state .
2: Try for payment seats in various state universities . but the time is less you have to fill form as soon as possible. Currently the himachal Pradesh form are out with 6seats for non- HP candidates .
Hope this information helps you,
Thank you .

Hello Vijay!
Rajasthan Pre-Veternary Test or RVPT is a state level entrance exam for students seeking admission in Rajasthan veternary and animal science colleges. The exam is conducted by Rajasthan University of veternary and Animal Sciences. NEET on the other hand, is a National entrance exam for students aspiring MBBS or BAMS courses, conducted by NTA.
Both the exams have some similarity. 3 subjects - physics, chemistry and biology will be asked for 45,45 and 90 questions respectively. The portion includes 11th and 12th topics for both exams. The duration is 3 hours.
However, the total marks in NEET is 720 and RVPT is 180 and there is a negative marking in NEET. Also, NEET is all india exam, so therefore, is comparitively more difficult than RVPT. If you are preparing for NEET, then you dont need additional preparation for RVPT except solving some sample papers. So prepare well for the difficult exam and it will be easy for you for the rest of the exams in the same field.
All the best!
Being among the top 200 rank of your state is really commendable in exams like NEET. According to last year stats at 177 rank seat was alloted to a GENERAL category student. So you will surely get a seat in any of the MBBS college. Your category may also help you secure a good seat.
I have given the link to Rajasthan Counseling and merit list below, refer to it to clear your doubts.
