NEET is the single largest medical examination in India that offers MBBS/BDS, AYUSH and several other programmes in government and private medical colleges of India. Pursuing a medical course, especially an MBBS, can be costly for meritorious students from financially weaker sections. To help with this, numerous NEET scholarships are awarded to the students by the government and other organisations.
NEET exam is a highly competitive exam and requires a good rank to get a good and affordable government college. However, to assist the meritorious students from EWS backgrounds, various scholarships at both the national and state levels are available for the students such as AIPMST secondary, CSSS, Combined Counselling Board scholarship, and many more.
These scholarships assist the needy through tuition fees, study materials, and electronic gadgets. Only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria set for these scholarships and qualify for the entrance examination are awarded scholarships. Hello aspirant,
For NEET, you must select your central government category, not the state category. Jaat from Uttar Pradesh is counted as General in the central list because this caste is not included in the Central OBC list. Even though you may fall under OBC at the state level, NEET uses only the central list for reservation. So, in the NEET application, you should fill General category to avoid any issues during counselling or document verification.

Hello aspirant,
With a rank of 1760 in the NTRUHS PG management quota (B-category) and belonging to the AU region, getting a clinical seat is possible but mostly in the mid or lower-demand branches. High-demand clinical courses like Radiology, Dermatology and General Medicine generally close at much lower ranks, but seats in branches such as ENT, Opthalmology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia or General Surgery may still be available depending on this year's vacancy movement during later rounds. Keep track of round - wise allotments for clearer chances.
