Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Lucknow specifies the fee structure of private medical colleges. Eligible aspirants who qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test exam (NEET) are eligible for UP MBBS admissions. As per the guidelines issued, private colleges and institutes must declare their UP NEET fee structure 2026 through the state counselling authority or Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

A total of 15% seats are reserved for NRI admissions, as per the regulations made by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Students willing to take NRI admissions must qualify for NEET 2026. Therefore, it is mandatory for aspirants to secure the NEET cutoff qualifying percentile and scores. The admission to NRI seats is done on the basis of merit rank secured by the candidate. NRI students need to pay Rs. 2,00,000 at the time of admission, which is refunded, after the allotment of seats in private medical colleges.
