UP MBBS admission - Eligibility criteria

Before applying for UP NEET admissions, aspirants must check the basic NEET eligibility criteria as mentioned by the authorities. Some of the basic eligibility conditions have been mentioned below.

• Aspirants should be 17 years old as on December 31, 2025.
• Candidates must be a domicile of the state for admission to UP NEET 2025, If an applicant has completed their Class 10 and 12 from the schools located in the state, they do not have to provide their domicile certificate.
• Whereas, if an aspirant has completed Class 10 and 12 outside the state, they have to furnish their actual domicile certificate.
• Candidates have to complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects. While reserved category candidates have to qualify for Class 12 with 40% and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) have to secure at least 45%
• NEET cutoff qualifying percentile should be secured to pass the national-level offline entrance test. The category-wise NEET qualifying percentile and marks have been mentioned below.

For UP MBBS admissions, aspirants must fill out the application form for UP MBBS/BDS 2025. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to fill out the application form for UP MBBS/BDS 2025 on or before the last date. UP MBBS application form 2025 must be filled in the following steps:

• Uploading of the passport-size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression
• Application fees payment
• Submission of application form

While filling out the DMET UP MBBS application form, aspirants are required to fill in their personal, academic, contact, NEET 2025 details and other asked information. It should be verified that the details filled in the application form are correct as the admission details are communicated through the filled details. The scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression, as per the specifications specified by the authority. UP NEET merit list 2025

DMET UP releases the merit list of UP NEET for each round separately. The authority prepares the UP NEET merit list 2025 on the basis of the scores mentioned in the NEET results. Candidates can download UP MBBS rank lists PDF from the links available on the page, when released. UP MBBS merit list 2025 mentions the state merit rank, names, father’s name, gender, category name, NEET marks, percentile and NEET All India Rank and remarks. Candidates included in the merit list of DMET UP MBBS 2025 will be called for the counselling process.

UP MBBS admission 2025 - Document verification

Candidates included in the merit lists must report at the designated venue for verification of documents. The authority releases the schedule for document verification soon after the release of UP medical college admission merit lists. In case the candidate forgets any of the following documents, he/she is not allowed to participate in the further admission process.

• Caste certificate, if applicable

UP State NEET counselling 2025

Aspirants who are included in the merit list are eligible to participate in UP state NEET counselling 2025 for admission under 85% of state quota seats. To participate in the UP NEET UG counselling 2025 process, candidates need to undergo the document verification process. The authority conducts the counselling of UP MBBS/BDS 2025 in three rounds which include mop-up. UP NEET 2025 counselling is done based on the ranks of candidates.

During the seat allotment of UP MBBS admissions, students have to log in to fill in their choices of colleges to which they wish to get admission. They can select any number of colleges they want to UP MBBS/BDS allotment process. Based on these choices filled, seats available in these colleges, NEET UG All India Rank, reservation criteria and various factors, admission to UP MBBS 2025 is granted. Candidates who are allotted a seat under UP NEET 2025 counselling result, are required to report at the respective colleges for completion of the admission process. In case of any vacant seats left after round two, DMET, UP organises a mop-up round of UP NEET counselling 2025 in offline mode.
