The authority had mentioned that it will release a fresh schedule for UP MBBS counselling 2019 shortly. DMET will release the merit list of UP MBBS 2019 tentatively on July 24. Aspirants who have secured the minimum qualifying percentile and its corresponding marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) are eligible for admission to UP MBBS 2019. Only the candidates who will fulfill the basic eligibility conditions will be called for admission to around 5565 MBBS and 2,251 BDS seats under 85% state quota seats offered by government as well as private colleges of Uttar Pradesh. While, from the government medical colleges, the 15% seats will be reserved for students selected under All India Quota scheme. These seats will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of NEET UGscores.

The eligibility criteria of UP MBBS 2019 must be read by aspirants in order to check whether they are eligible or not. Given below are some of the basic UP MBBS/BDS eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled by candidates.
Candidates must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh for which they have to fulfill the following criteria for UP MBBS admission 2019:
The citizen of India whose father’s resident/origin is fo Uttar Pradesh and aspirants must is also a resident of UP.
Indian citizen or their parents should be a resident of the state for not less than three years.
Indian citizen who is a child of an Indian Government employee.
Candidates who are residing in a foreign country but their forefathers were a domicile of the state.
Students who have complete their Class 10 and 12 from the state do not need to be the resident of UP.
Aspirants must register themselves for the admission to MBBS and BDS colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates who have complete their Class 10 and Class 12 from the state must furnish their parent’s permanent resident located in the state.
An applicant must have complete their Class 10 and 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
They must obtain at least 50% taken together in Chemistry, Physics and Biology in Class 12 or equivalent examination, if they belong to unreserved category. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, 40% must be secured by them in their Higher Secondary school, while for PH category students it should be 45%.
It is mandatory for aspirants to appear and qualify the national medical entrance exam by securing the minimum qualifying NEET UG cut off 2019 percentile as specified by the authority.

The filling of application form of UP MBBS/BDS 2019 for round 2 is closed. Aspirants who are willing for admission to UP MBBS 2019 must fill the UP MBBS 2019 application form. The mode of submission of application form will be online mode only. During UP MBBS online registration 2019, candidates need to enter their basic details such as name, date of birth, address, father’s name, domicile, category, details of examination passed and other information.
The UP MBBS application form can be filled in the following steps:

Once the registration process will be over, the relevant documents must be uploaded. The uploading of documents must be done as per the specifications set by the authority. Thereafter, the application fee of Rs. 2000 must be paid by the candidates which is not refundable.
After completing all the steps of UP MBBS/BDS 2019 application form, aspirants need to verify the details and submit the form. They must take at least three to four printouts of the submitted application form for future references.
Following are the list of documents which must be produced at the time of document verification. Candidates must produce the original and set of photocopy of these documents.
DMET, UP will release the state merit of UP MBBS 2019 list . A link to check the merit list will be provided here. The authority had announced the state merit list of first round of counselling on June 25. UP MBBS merit is released in online mode. Candidates who submit the application form on or before the the last date are included in the merit list. The merit list will contain names of eligible aspirants, NEET rank as well as scores, category, percentile secured in NEET MBBS and state merit rank.
DMET, Uttar Pradesh will conduct two rounds of counselling of UP MBBS 2019 for seat allotment process. Candidates included in the merit list will be called for counselling process. During the counselling procedure, candidates will be required to provide their choices of colleges as well as courses. On the basis of these choices filled, the UP MBBS seat allotment process will be done.
The second round of UP MBBS 2019 schedule had been released on July 12 and the filling of application forms began from July 15 to 18. Merit list was released by DMET on July 24. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will have to go for document verification in the allotted time. The second round of UP MBBS/BDS 20190 counselling is being organised to fill in the seats left vacant after the first round.

Know the Neet syllabus & what’s important
Study all the chapters taught in class 11 and 12 thoroughly. 70 to 80 percent of the overall questions are either directly taken from NCERT or are an advanced form of its learnings. Before you take on the study effort, go through the previous years' papers, so much so that, you can identify the important topics and concepts. Study those thoroughly, and prioritize these topics before you move to the less important ones.
Make a study strategy
Ensure you make a good timetable that includes solving test papers, regular revisions, and small breaks to help you recuperate and start afresh. Strictly abide by it and allocate more time to difficult subjects. Make it a habit to cover difficult topics along with interesting ones so that preparation does not become monotonous. Keep a track of time as you do not want one chapter to consume time and affect your overall study plan.
Solve test papers
As soon as you complete your syllabus, start solving as many test papers as you can. As the final date approaches, solve 3-4 test papers/mocks tests a day. Try to complete the test papers within the designated time. Demarcate the questions where you made a mistake and identify its cause. Revise all the incorrectly attempted questions well. In this manner, you will be able to understand your weaknesses better and prepare strategically, which is very important for a competitive exam like NEET.
Along with your mock test papers take some time out to revise lessons. This should begin after you have completed studying all the lessons. If you are facing difficulty in grasping a certain topic, formula, diagram, etc, prepare a learning aid (like flashcards) and fix it in front of your study table. Do not be overconfident about your preparation and pay attention to the technique applied to crack the question while you’re revising.
Develop your own study technique
Every student will have a different strategy to crack the exam. While preparing for a competitive exam like NEET, follow a study technique that helps you recall your lessons well and allows you to solve the paper in the stipulated time. Follow the one that suits you best and adhere to the pattern till the day of examination. Do not panic and alter your strategy a few days before the exam - this is likely to hamper your preparation and affect your confidence before the examination.
