Directorate of Medical Education and Training, UP will not conduct a separate entrance exam. Thus, admissions to approximately 2000 seats in government medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2017. UP MBBS BDS 2017 will be the basis for admissions to 85% state quota seats. Further, admissions to 15% all India Quota seats will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling conducting authority, Directorate of Medical Education and Training, UP has declared separate eligibility criteria for MBBS and BDS admissions. Candidates can check below for the eligibility criteria for UP MBBS BDS Admission 2017:
Candidates must be a citizen of India
Candidates must be 17 years of age as on 31 December 2017
Candidate must be a domicile of UP
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Other Backward Classes
Candidates belonging ton SC/ST categories minimum marks are 40% and for OBC candidates minimum marks are 45%
The application form of UP MBBS will be available starting July 5, 2017, onwards until July 8, 2017. UP MBBS BDS 2017 application form will be available in both the modes, online and offline. Candidates can obtain the application form in online mode from Directorate of Medical Education and Training, UP office by sending a demand draft of Rs.1500. Further, in order to fill UP MBBS BDS 2017 application form in online mode, candidates will have to first register themselves. By filling the application form in online mode, an application fee of UP MBBS BDS 2017 can be filled via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

UP MBBS Counselling 2017
The counselling will be conducted for allotment of state quota seats MBBS and BDS seats in government, private and deemed medical universities, colleges and institutes across UP. UP MBBS BDS 2017 counselling will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to present in person, in order to participate in UP MBBS BDS 2017 Counselling. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The first round of counselling will take place on July 15 & 16, 2017. While the second round will begin on August 18 & 19, 2017.
Candidates, who will qualify as per the merit list released by the exam conducting authority DMER, UP, have to attend the offline counselling of Uttar Pradesh MBBS BDS 2017.
