    NTA NEET Registration 2026: Eligibility Criteria

    Before filling the NEET application form, candidates must check their eligibility. A brief NEET eligibility criteria 2026 can be checked below.

    • Candidates must be Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), or foreign nationals.

    • Candidates must be of 17 years of age as on December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit for NEET 2026.

    • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Candidates appearing for class 12 exam this year, can also apply for NEET 2026.

    • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying examination and must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate (for general candidates).
