    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended NEET 2026 last date to apply. The NEET 2026 registration last date is now March 11, 2026. The NEET last date has been extended because the official website has not been working since the last two days. Candidates should register before the NEET form filling last date to apply as no further extension will be given by the authority.

    The NEET 2026 registration link was activated on February 8, 2026. Eligible candidates had to fill the NEET 2026 application form from till March 8, 2026. However, the NEET 2026 official website was not working for the last two days and also the authority announced the admission to BPT and BSc nursing courses through NEET midway, therefore, the NEET 2026 last date to apply has been extended by the NTA.

    What is the NEET form filling last date 2026?

    On March 8, the NTA announced that the NEET 2026 registration last date was extended. The NEET application form can now be filled till March 11, 2026 (9 PM). Also, the last date to pay the NEET 2026 form fee has been extended till March 11, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates who could not register before should complete the application form before the NEET 2026 registration deadline.

    Registering for the NEET UG 2026 requires candidates to follow all the specifications released by the NTA. The steps mentioned below on how to fill the NEET 2026 application form will help candidates complete the process smoothly.

    Steps to fill NEET application form 2026

    Step 1: Visit the official website

    To register for the medical entrance exam, go to the NEET 2026 official website.

    Step 2: NTA NEET registration

    Click on the ‘Registration for NEET UG-2026’ link and enter details like name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number and a valid email address.

    Step 3: Generation of login credentials

    Once the basic details are submitted, a NEET 2026 application number and password is generated. NEET application credentials are displayed on the screen as well as are sent to the entered mobile number and email ID.

    Step 4: NEET application form filling 2026

    Login by entering application number, password and captcha code. Enter personal details, PwD status, qualification details, exam city preferences and other asked details.

    Step 5: Complete NEET 2026 e-KYC

    Verify your identity through NEET 2026 Aadhaar eKYC. Candidates can also complete this step through NEET 2026 e-KYC without Aadhaar.

    Step 6: Capture live photograph

    Candidates need to upload a live photograph in the NEET application form. Once the NEET 2026 live photo is authenticated with the Aadhaar, candidates can move further to fill the application form.

    Step 7: Upload NEET registration documents

    Upload the NEET documents required in the specified format such as passport size photograph, thumb impression, address proof, class 10 marksheet and other asked documents.

    Step 8: Pay the NEET form fees 2026

    Candidates need to pay NEET 2026 form fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.

    Step 9: Submit the form and download the confirmation page

    Review all the details carefully and submit the NEET application form. A NEET 2026 confirmation page is generated. Candidates must download the NEET confirmation page 2026 for future reference.

    Important points to follow before the NEET 2026 last date to apply

    • Complete the NEET 2026 application form on or before the last date as no further extension will be provided.

    • It is important to pay the NEET 2026 application fee for successful submission.

    • Review all the details before final submission of the application form as some fields once locked cannot be edited during the NEET 2026 correction window.

    • Do not forget to download the NEET confirmation page as it will be required in further processes.
