Hello,
With a NEET 2025 rank of 370334 and SC category, it is very difficult to get a BAMS seat in a government college in Jammu & Kashmir .
In previous years, the closing rank for SC category in government BAMS colleges was much lower, usually under 1 lakh . Your rank is quite far from that, so chances are very low.
J&K has very few government BAMS seats, and the competition is high. So, getting a seat with this rank is not likely.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
With a 10 lakh rank in NEET and ST category, it is very difficult to get a government medical college , even under the ST quota. Government colleges usually have much higher cut-offs, even for reserved categories.
You can still try under the State Quota , as state cut-offs are usually lower than All India Quota. But chances are very low for MBBS in government colleges.
You can look for:
BDS (Dental) in government or private colleges
MBBS in private colleges or through management/NRI quota
Other medical courses like BAMS, BHMS, BPT, Nursing, etc.
Apply through State Quota first, and also check options under All India Quota just in case any seat remains vacant.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
With a NEET score of 400 and rank around 2.1 lakh, it is very difficult to get Govt. Dental College (CDC) Ludhiana , as it usually needs a higher score, especially for general category.
But you can get admission in some private BDS colleges in Haryana or Punjab . Here are some good options :
Punjab :
Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences, Ferozepur
Sri Sukhmani Dental College, Dera Bassi
Rayat Bahra Dental College, Mohali
Desh Bhagat Dental College, Mandi Gobindgarh
Haryana :
Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences, Faridabad
Manav Rachna Dental College, Faridabad
PDM Dental College, Bahadurgarh
JCD Dental College, Sirsa
You can get BDS in these colleges through state counselling . Make sure to apply in both Haryana and Punjab state counselling if you're eligible.
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
With NEET 2025, you got 291 marks and you belong to the General (Unreserved) category with no Puducherry domicile, which means your chances of getting IGMC&RI, Puducherry via All India Quota (AIQ) is extremely low. From previous years results, the AIQ cut off to get IGMC&RI's General quota is 550+. Moreover, even for state quota (for Puducherry residents) the cut off also was much more than 291. However, you can consider:
Hello Aspirant,
Indeed, you can take NEET 2026 after giving an improvement exam in 2026. As per NEET eligibility criteria, a candidate needs to obtain a passing mark in qualifying examination science stream subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English - in that exam by boards. For general category students, minimum qualifying percentage/aggregate in PCB was 50% aggregate. Now, since you mentioned you've obtained 44% in HSC, at this time you are not eligible - however, if you reappear for the qualifying examination in 2026 and obtain passing marks with qualifying percentage, the eligibility requirement will be fulfilled, and you can apply for NEET 2026.
Which Qualification Code Should You Use?
Hello Neha,
With a NEET 2025 score of 337, 84 percentile, an AIR of 344243, and an OBC rank of 164433, you may find it difficult to secure a government MBBS seat in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, or Kerala where OBC cutoffs generally higher in these states. You still have options in:
Always check with your State level counselling (like, KEA, TN Medical Selection etc.) for the latest cutoffs and seat matrix. Also watch out for Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds as cut off may drop a few points.
