There are some chances of you getting into AIIMS. According to the revised seat position by AIIMS, There are 586 seats for general category.Since your rank is 1683. There are very less chances.

Only if the students with rabj higher than you get a seat in other colleges

I am sorry to inform you that according to me you have no chance of getting into AIIMS thus year.According to the seat position release by AIIMS 584 seats are there for general category and 134 for obc category.

Since your rank is in 6000 in general category

Dear Sir / Ma'm, you need to keep your concepts very strong and clear. You have to devote equal time to all three subjects everyday. Along with that, keep practising ample number of multiple choice questions in a stipulated time as it  will increase your problem solving speed. Also remember

It actually depends on which category you belong to. If you are from general then it seems to be hard to get admission but if you have category then you have very little chance.
