With these marks it's not possible for you to get into AIIMS. Because the cut-offs for AIIMS is very high. The cut-off for AIIMS in general category goes as high as 1500 usually. Therefore for you to get in with a rank of 16000 is not possible. I

Aiims has a different set up for counselling. Generally they fill the seat depending upon the top rankers. Those students who have a higher rank have a good chance of getting a seat in different aiims. I won't say you will not get a seat but it's bit difficult.

To participate in AIIMS counselling the candidate needs to have a min qualifying percentile and rank to be eligible for counselling. 

Last year the closing rank was lowest for aiims patna at 2949 AIR.
