General Category: 99.986
OBC: 99.940
SC:99.716

AIIMS consists of a total of 200 Qs.

60 each from bio, chem and phy. Apart from this it has 20 Questions from GK and logical reasoning.

The questions asked are mostly of basic level.

They are divided into current affairs n GK, logical reasoning and aptitude.

Hi, 

AIIMS is considered as one of the toughest exam in the country for admission into mbbs degree.

A score of 115-125 to be in the safe zone.

However the cutoff marks can't be predicted accurately since it tends to change every year.

I guess CBSE Board provides a good syllabus, better learning opportunities and better infrastructure than any state boards. I would suggest CBSE board for JEE or Medical entrances.

Follow with your NCERT concepts and solve questions from the physics module and previous years. Emphasize more on class 12 topics like optics, electricity, magnetism.

Lastly, Revision and Time and stress management must be practiced.

To qualify for AIIMS EXAMINATION 2019 the minimum percentile needed is as follows

General (Gen)-50%

Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-Creamy Layer)-45%

Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST)-40%

Orthopedically Physically Handicapped (OPH)-As per respective category cutoff
