Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is an assessment examination. It is conducted to evaluate the knowledge of Indian nationals who completed their medical degree from any other country outside India. The exam is mandatory for all the foreign medical graduates to be able to practice in India.
It is a screening test which allows candidates to obtain provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
FMGE 2018 will be conducted by National Board of examinations (NBE). The december session exam will be conducted on December 14.
Application fee for the exam is INR 5,500 (Non-refundable)
