You are in 10th so you have a lot of time . If your aim is Jipmer then you should know that it conducts it's own entrance exams for admission there and 10th and 12th marks don't matter much except for a minimum cutoff.

The cutoff varies from state to state.
The Central Quota UR seats have a cutoff of 540+ marks to get a government seat.
Though it can go lower or higher depending on the state you belong to.
But to get a seat in a good government college seat
UR Candidate - 165+ marks
OBC - 150+ marks
SC/ST - 140+ marks
