Can anyone tell me that 60% in PCB means overall i.e., phy+chem+bio=60% or individual marks?

zubin916 2nd Sep, 2018

Overall 60%aggregate marks is required in PCB under JIPMER.

Students dont require more than 60% marks individually in PCB subjects.

Which means If each exam os of 100marks then out of total 300 marks minimum 180 marks is must.

Does 60% eligibility criteria is for each subject or overall, for JIPMER?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 2nd Sep, 2018

Hey Hima.

The eligibility criteria for JIPMER requires you to pass each subject individually. The 60% criteria means that you need to score atleast 60% aggregate in PCB and you do not need 60% marks in each individual subject. Hence, 60% is required overall and not individuallly.

Best of luck!
