The cutoff marks changes every year depending on various factors e.g. difficulty of exams, the total no. of students appeared, etc. Last year the cutoff marks for general category students was 161, 153 for OBC, 142 for SC and 123 and 144 for ST and NRI candidates respectively. So as per last years cutoff you need to score a minimum marks around these numbers to be eligible for counselling.

As per the latest government rules, regulations, and guidelines it is impossible to get a medical seat of any related medical principle be it MBBS, BDS, BAMS or BMHs without writing NEET, AIIMS or JIPMER.
To get admission even in private colleges one will have to write the NEET examinations no matter what.
To prepare for Indian Medical entrance examination mentioned above the following books could be helpful.
Biology : NCERT, MTG NCERT at your fingertips
Chemistry: NCERT, NCERT exemplar, Vibrant Academy's Physical Chemistry by N Awasthy, Arihant Organic Chemistry by MS Chouhan
Physics: NCERT, NCERT exemplar, HC Verma, Arihant's Objective Physics by DC Pandey.
In all these examinations, the syllabus is usually very similar comprising of Class XI and Class XII studies of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Yes, You can apply for JIPMER Entrance Exam 2019, You must have passed 10+2 in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) and English as main subjects as General category at least 60% aggregate & SC/ ST you should have 40%. Overall 60%aggregate marks is required in PCB under JIPMER.
Students dont require more than 60% marks individually in PCB subjects.
Which means If each exam os of 100marks then out of total 300 marks minimum 180 marks is must.

Being in general category, you need a rank around 155 to take admission in jipmer.
