Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research Post Graduate Entrance Exam
Hi Anurudhha,
Well that may vary as per different states. Every state has it's own cut off declared for Ayush courses. According cut offs is released.
Government colleges usually have high cut off and demand than the private ones.
The cut off can be around 480+ for general category students. 450+ for OBC category students. 350+ for SC ST students.
These are just possible cut offs and the actual can be expected around this.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Hello,
As per your query, i would say that whatever changes are made those will be for students who take new admission not for those who already are persuing the course. If such changes are made for already persuing students, they will be notified by the college as well as will get notifications and information on its official site.

Hello Aspirant
Sad to know that this happened. As per your query, I would like you to know that if you were not allowed to sit for the examinations because of your attendance shortage then either you will be asked to appear to redo examinations or you will be detained. Hope this answer helps you with your query. All the best.
Hello Muthu.
You have performed well in JIPMER entrance test and according to your rank you will get admission in JIPMER just wait for the further round of counselling because the rank you have got needs waiting for conformation of seat but according to my knowledge you will get seat in the college. So wait for further rond of counselling.
Hopefully my answer helped
Hey Chandni,
As we all know the total number of seats alloted for PG in JIPMER is 100, where 90 seats are for General category, 5 seats for Indian candidates sponsored by government and 5 seats for NRI candidates.
Analysising your AIR and the category ranking it is difficult to obtain a seat. The difficulty is higher as the ratio between the available number of seats which is very less and the level of competion being higher.

Hi !
It is very difficult with such a rank to get any of the JIPMER campuses. According to last year's data , the closing rank for OBC -Physically handicapped candidates , was 59 for Puducherry Campus and 69 for Karaikal Campus. The ranks of both the campuses of JIPMER have much great difference with your rank. So it is very difficult with such a rank to get any of the JIPMER campuses. Rest , it depends on each year's cutoff.
All the best !

Hi Paritosh,
Firstly a huge round of applause from here for attempting and securing such a great rank in JIPMER PG entrance exams.
Firstly, there is no solid data pointing to the subejct wise allottment of seats in the previous years but goign through some sources, I feel a rank of around 100-110 under general category is required for MD Psychiatry although the round of counselling and the no. of applicants also matter.
So this is not a distressing information as the rank and the cut off vary widely each year depending upon the difficulty of the paper and the number of applicants.
You should definitely try and also dont give up hope until the last round of counselling.
I hope this helps and keeep tryign hard and aspiring.
Please revdert in case of further doubts. Best of luck.
