Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research Post Graduate Entrance Exam
Dear Sir/Ma'm, as of now there is no news regarding the December session registration of the JIPMER PG entrance examination. As soon as we get any news, we will definitely get back to you. The citizen should be an Indian and if not then he must have the necessary documents like an OCI should be registered under section 7A of citizenship act and Foreign Nationals' MBBS degree should be registered under Medical Council of the respective country. The candidates must hold a MBBS degree (recognised by MCI) or equivalent. Candidates belonging to General and OBC must have 55% aggregate in their MBBS course or equivalent and SC and ST should have 50% aggregate. The candidate should also have completed one year of rotating internship.
Dear Gokul, it is understood that you will not have DCI Registration number yet if youbhave completed the 1 year mandatory internship recently. So your provisional certificate will do for now. However at the time of verification of documents and admission, it is important to have the Registration details and original documents pertaining to that.
The form probably accepted the photo as it is ( that is without the placard) which can be rejected during verification process. If you wish to submit a fresh application then -"Any request for change in category or choice of exam centres or in any other detail as entered in JIPMER MBBS application form 2019 will not be permitted by JIPMER Puducherry. In case a candidate makes any such mistake, he/she will be required to fill in a fresh JIPMER MBBS 2019 application form before the last date of JIPMER MBBS application submission."
The last date for application is April 12, 2019,
if you have your final MBBS registration number then definitely you will feel that up but if you have not yet got the document of a final MBBS registration certificate from the health University to which you are affiliated you'll have to to fill up the provisional registration number making sure that you have the provisional registration certificate or ID xerox at the time of verification of documents for the chief examination because if you are unable to produce when you might be in a fix and your candidature might be questioned
Hey ,
Have you already submitted the application? IF so , I'm sorry but there is no option for correcting the application form. Your application might or might not be subjected to rejection. But there is way, by applying it again and paying fees again.
According to the given guidelines , The photograph and signature must be submitted in the prescirbed format -
All these process of aplication submission is only done after clicking "submit" button after uploading the necessary documents. Also, there is no refunding of fees. Once the application is submitted, they do not accept requests through any medium regarding the changes to be done in application form. Incomplete application will be rejected.
In case of rejection of online application form, there is no reconsideration accepted. But you can re-apply as fresh application and paying fees again. There is no refunding of application fee, hence if you have already submitted with ncorrect details and you want to correct it, you need to pay the aplicaiton fees again.Once you know the error committed by you, You need to fill the new application with prescribed fee and the earlier application will automatically get cancelled.
So , there is option to correct it if you have proceeded with final submission, If not you can re-upload it and proceed for final submission. IF you have sumitted, then you need to re-apply. But again, it should not make much difference , but according to guidelines we dont know they may reject it if it doesnt meet the guidelines, hence on safer side, if ou have submitted , re-apply it. IF not re- upload the photo.
Also, since they do not accept any request for considering the application submitted by violatiing one of the guidelines, then you can contact them and ask them what else you can do. if they suggest you as filling another application is the only other option, then you will have to go through with that.

Dear Akhila,
In order to secure good marks , you need to follow some guidelines such as knowing the syllabus well and sticking to it. Make an effective and achievable goal for every week. Prepare a schedule which suits you. You should know the exact pattern of the questions asked and total number of questions. Divide your syllabus into basic clinical science and clinical sciences. Revision is the key. Make a plan and divide each subject into block such as block 1 - anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and give 3,4,3 days to them respectively. Clear your doubts as soon as they arise, don't wait. Make small notes and keep revising them. Attempt mock test as many as you can as it will built your concepts and also reduce the time taken to solve each question. Some of the best books for JIPMER PG are -

Hi Vora,
As per the current rules and regulations FMG candidates are allowed to sit for JIPMER. The candidate must be registered with the Medical Council of respective country. The candidates are required to seek permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI). After the MCI grants permission, the candidates will be asked to process their applications via the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. But there are only 5 seats for FMG.
Hopefully this helps.
