size of the files needed for online application?

While uploading the documents for PGIMER, Chandigarh 2020, you need to follow the guidelines given below :-

Candidates will have to upload scanned copy
of: -
a) Recent passport size color photo (maximum of 50-200 KB Size in JPEG/JPG format)
b) Recent scanned signature (maximum of 50-200 KB Size in JPEG/JPG format)
c) Category/Caste certificate (OBC/SC/ST/PwBD)-maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format.
d) Date of birth proof document as per guidelines (Maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format).
e) Qualifying Degree certificate (maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format).

I'll suggest you to go once through its prospectus and 'Manual for online application' for the necessary details.

You might be aware that the portal for online application is open from today i.e. 17th March and the last date is 16th April, 2020.

Hello,

Here's the eligibility criteria for for those Indian citizens or Overseas citizens who have pursued their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical colleges that are outside India territory.

  • FMG candidates have to mandatorily pass NBE conducted Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) (Screening Test).
  • Medical graduates from foreign must be registered with MCI/SMC
  • The internship requirement for FMG candidates, as per eligibility criteria of NEET PG, is the same as mentioned above for overall candidates
  • On the day of conduction of NEET PG 2020, FMG candidates are required to bring along their FMGE Pass Certificate issued by NBE

PGIMER JULY 2020 (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Entrance Examination July Session 2020) will be conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh for enrolling the candidates in various MD/MS, DM/M.Chand MDS courses. According to the official notification released by PGIMER, Chandigarh the exam for the July session of PGIMER 2020 will be conducted on May 23, 2020. Aspirants seeking admission to PGIMER will be able to fill in the PGIMER application form 2020 on the official website. The link for the same is given below:

Yes you can definitely go in for M.Sc in Radiology after  completing B.Sc in Physics.

A Radiologist is a physician who has completed a residency program in one of the disciplines of Radiology (viz., Diagnostic, Therapeutic and Nuclear Medicine), becoming a certified clinical specialist.

  • Application starts on, 3rd week of march
  • Last date, 3rd week April
  • Admit card release, 1st week of may
  • Last date to download, may 23
  • Exam date, may 23
  • Result declaration, 4th week of may
  • Counseling starts on,2nd week  of June
  • Last counseling,4th week of july

if my internship is going to end in march 2021, can i appear for pgimer exam in november 2020? or do i need to complete the the internship for giving an attempt?

So, PGIMER 2020 will be conducted twice a year in the month of November and June for January and July session respectively.

And its official eligibility criteria says :

Candidates must have completed a one-year rotatory internship by December 31, 2019, for the January session.
and;
Each candidate applying for PGIMER 2020 must have a permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India.

So, unfortunately you cannot appear for PGIMER 2020.

The next application form for PGIMER will be for July session. The application forms will be released in the second week of March 2020 and will be ending till second week of April 2020. PGIMER Entrance id For candidates appearing for MD/MS entrance. The eligibility criteria of PGIMER is listed below.

  • Candidates are required to possess a degree in MBBS from an institution that is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Candidates applying to PGIMER  must possess a registration certificate issued by the State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Registration Council.
  • All aspirants must complete the rotatory internship of one year before the date assigned for each session by PGIMER.

Hi Ankita,

If your question is with respect to admission for the year 2020 then unfortunately you have missed it for January session as the form filling date for the year 2020 was from 26 october 2019 to 14 november 2019 andThe exam was conducted on 30th November 2019.

For July session they still had not released any schedule. You need to wait for it.
