at what rank you can get ms obs gynae in govt college in neet?? and at what rank you can get ms obs gynae in pgi chandigarh may session??

Tarreni Behera 12th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

The Candidates looking for a particular post graduation program in medicine need to secure good ranks to get hold of a seat in the best Institutes of the country. Admission in Government Institutes is tough as it is saddled by intense competition compounded by limited number of seats with ever increasing number of applicants. Even some private Institutes demand good ranks and only offer pg courses to those students who have secured one of the best ranks in the NEET PG examination. But of course there is always management quota that shall help candidates in securing the precious seat.

Of all the courses, getting hold of MD/MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is probably much easier in comparison to other pg courses. The cutoff rank is close to 8000 for general category students for getting an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. For reservation candidates, the cutoff rank is even higher. If you have a rank within this rank, you have great chances of getting that pg course.

As far as PGI Chandigarh is concerned, the cutoff rank for the same course is a little bit higher and is close to 12,500. So you have a much better chance of getting admission in this Institute.

If you want to know which are the colleges that you may get, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-pg-college-predictor&ved=2ahUKEwiYhduC-PvsAhXz73MBHcoMCawQFjAKegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw2FggS_WqS2X65PV6QmCh-H&cshid=1605149126164

This shall give you a list of colleges based on your rank and the courses that you can avail for with respect to your rank. Before joining any of the Institute, I recommend you to compare such colleges to know by yourself which is the best college for you to pursue post graduation.

Good luck.

2. It may be not uploaded by the authority till now, you have to wait some time.

3. Due to system error, try to refresh page and log in again

If these are not the reason, then try to contact the authority.

till which rank can get seat in md / ms in pgi in FN category?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 1st Jan, 2020

Hello,

Getting a seat is difficult until you score highest and stand with in 10. Rank cutoff is not given by the board.

For every department the seats reserved is 0-2 for FN Category. Total seats are 207 under 20 different specialization streams.

It is highly tough and difficult to get task. If you work harder and study and practice well, then you can perform well then others. if you score highest then you can get an admisison.
