NTA has made several changes in the past few years, with the latest being in 2025 when the section B was removed and total questions were fixed at 180 instead of 200. The NTA has initiated a random process for NEET tie-breaking procedure. According to the new NEET change, when all the rules are exhausted to resolve tie, the authority will resolve it through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.
The NTA made changes in the NEET exam pattern with the removal of section B from the question paper. Aspirants now have to answer a total of 180 questions in 3 hours.
