FMGE Subject-Wise Weightage 2025 For June Session: The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is of great importance for foreign-trained medical graduates who wish to practice medicine in India. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the screening test analyses the medical knowledge and clinical proficiency of candidates to confirm that they have the standards requisite for medical practice in the nation. According to the recent notification, the FMGE June 2025 registration process started on April 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM, until May 17, 2025, 11:55 PM. Aspirants seeking to appear for the test need to fill in their applications during this time by logging on to the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in. The test will be held on July 26, 2025, in computer-based mode.

FMGE subject weightage exam pattern

FMGE is a two-part computer-based examination, held biannually in June and December. It comprises 300 multiple-choice questions, spread over two sessions i.e. 2 hours and 30 mins each (5 hours in total). As per the FMGE exam pattern, each session contains 150 questions with no negative marking and one mark awarded for every right answer, assessing a broad spectrum of medical disciplines.
