Is there any chance of neet application rejection because of typing my 12 th roll number wrongly?

Rishi Garg 22nd Jan, 2020

If you have filled your 12th Standard Board Roll Number incorrectly, then kindly edit it till the correction window is open. NTA allows the candidate to make one time correction in their application form if a candidate has filled any information incorrect (However uploaded images can only be edited after NTA notifies you to do so).

So, go to the official website and login using your credentials and make the necessary changes.

I have type my 12th register number instead of roll number in neet application form 2020.I have submitted my application form without correcting this during correction time.Is my application form will be cancelled because of this?

Shareef 22nd Jan, 2020

If you have already used the correction window once, you cannot use it again because the correction window is a one time facility. But on a brighter side, NTA will not know whether you entered registered number or your roll number. But students who are appearing for their 12th enter their registered number instead of roll number because they do not have their hall tickets yet. But what you entered is not wrong completely. You did not enter any other data. You entered your own registered number. So you are still safe. Do not worry about these things and focus on preparation.

Is my neet application form will be cancelled because of typing my 12 th roll number wrongly in application form.I have submitted my application without correcting this.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 22nd Jan, 2020

Saviitha, your 12th information is your academic information and only you would know it. NTA would not know these details to reject your application because you entered the roll number incorrect. And as already you have utilised the correction window once, there is nothing that can be done about the incorrectly entered roll number. Eitherways during document verification, you will show the original documents, you will be fine. Do not worry about it.
