Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) is the competent authority to conduct the Punjab Para-Medical Entrance Test, PPMET 2024. The PPMET entrance exam is also known as the BFUHS Nursing entrance exam. As per the latest update, the provisional seat allotment result for round 1 has been announced on July 11. The last date to submit objections is July 12. The PPMET 2024 exam was conducted on June 25. The authority declared the PPMET result 2024 on July 2 at the official website bfuhs.ac.in.

Through the PPMET 2024 exam, admissions will be granted to B.Sc nursing courses at various colleges affiliated with the university. Candidates wishing to appear in the exam had to fill the PPMET 2024 application form in online mode and submit the application fee. The authority issued the PPMET admit card 2024 in online mode along with a certificate which needs to be duly signed and self-attested by the candidates. The PPMET 2024 exam comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) that need to be answered in 180 minutes.
The authority announces the PPMET 2024 result in online mode. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks which is 50% (for General category) are declared qualified in the examination. Qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the online PPMET 2023 counselling. Before applying for the PPMET 2024 entrance exam, aspirants should be aware of the sets of eligibility conditions that they need to fulfill. Aspirants can go through the detailed eligibility criteria of PPMET from below.
Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2024.
Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized university/board.
They should have passed in such qualifying examination as regular candidate individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and should have obtained 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination.
Candidates seeking admission under Foreign Indian Student (NRI) quota are not required to take PPMET but they must appear for counselling before the Selection committee.
Aspirants must note that if an applicant has also taken up Mathematics along with Physics Chemistry, Biology and English then the marks obtained in Mathematics shall not be considered for granting admission to B Sc. Nursing Course.
As aforementioned, BFUHS releases the PPMET 2024 application form in online mode. In order to take B.Sc nursing admission in the affiliated colleges of BFUHS, aspirants have to fill the PPMET application form on or before the last date. Aspirants are advised to fill the application form carefully as any discrepancy found in the application form will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. The following self-attested photocopies of documents are to be submitted with the PPMET admission application form.

The competent authority releases the PPMET 2024 admit card, along with a certificate that will be duly signed and self-attested by the candidates. Aspirants will only be able to download the PPMET admit card from the official university website by following the given instructions therein. PPMET admit card consists of the details of the date, time, and venue of the B.Sc nursing examination. The admit card of PPMET is an important document to carry at the examination centre as no one will be allowed to sit in the examination without the admit card.

After all the question booklets and OMR Response Sheets are received by the University, the evaluation shall be done using the OMR machine. After proper evaluation, the authority releases the PPMET 2024 result mentioning the rank, roll number and other details of the candidates. Based on rank, the University prepares the PPMET merit list of the applicants for granting B.Sc nursing admission. The merit list for PPMET 2024 will be prepared for seat allotment in the different institutions under the university.
After the declaration of the result, authorities will conduct PPMET counselling in online mode. The schedule of PPMET counselling 2024 is made available on the website of the University. Aspirants will have to submit online preferences of colleges/ category. Based on the preferences filled by the candidates, allotment of seats will be done.
Candidates who will be granted seats during the online PPMET 2024 counselling session will have to report at the allotted institute for document verification and joining.
