Along with the application form, the authority has also made JIPMER PG 2019 prospectus for January session available in PDF format. The last date to submit the application form of JIPMER PG 2020 is October 25, 2019, till 5:00 PM. Step 1: JIPMER PG 2020 registration

The application process begins with the basic registration of candidates. For this the candidates are required to follow the steps below:

  • Visit the official website

  • Enter name, date of birth, mobile number and email id

  • Copy the captcha code that is given at the bottom and click on ‘register’

  • Following the above step candidates will receive login credentials, i.e., user id and password, on their registered mobile number and email id

Step 2: Filling of application form

After completion of registration, candidates have to login with their login credentials provided to them on their registered mobile number and email id. They have to enter the following details

Basic details

  • After login candidates have click on ‘Go to application form’

  • Then they have to fill in their basic details

  • There is also an option to enter if they are Puducherry resident or not

  • Next they have to enter their category details

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates have to then fill their educational qualification in the next section. This includes marks secured in MBBS, name of institute, medical council registration number, name of university, expected/date of completion of internship, date of completion of course

Present and permanent address

  • In the next step they are required to give their present address followed by permanent address

ID Proof

  • Candidates have to mention the ID proof they are providing and ID number. Candidates who belong to J&K, Assam or Meghalaya will be provided with the option of giving details of any valid government ID proof such as Driving license, Ration Card, Voter ID, Passport, Bank Passbook or Aadhaar Card

Preference of exam city

  • Candidates have to then enter their preference for exam city. They can give three preferences for the same. The available exam cities are:

Photograph and signature upload

  • Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per specifications given above in this article. The photograph and signature should not appear blurry after upload

  • Save signature as "Candidte Signature.jpg" and photograph as "Candidate Photograph.jpg"

  • The photograph must be taken with the candidate holding a placard having his/her name and date of taking the photograph (refer to the picture attached below)


Step 3: Payment of JIPMER PG 2020 application fee

Step 4: Confirmation Page

After making fee payment for JIPMER PG application form 2020 candidates have to copy captcha that is provided, click on ‘I agree’ and ‘submit’ the form. After submitting the form a confirmation page will appear. Candidates are advised to verify the details mentioned therein like personal details, qualification, payment details and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

What to do if payment fails?

There is a possibility that candidates may face an issue of payment failure while filling JIPMER PG 2020 application form. There can be two cases of payment failures:

1. Amount not debited from account: Candidates might receive message from bank that payment could not be processed. In such a case the payment must be done again till it is successful.

2. Amount debited but confirmation not received: There can be cases where amount gets deducted from candidate’s bank account but there is no confirmation of it on the form. In this case candidates must pay the fee again and submit the form. The earlier fee that was paid will be refunded back to the candidate’s account within 30 days and a message received from the bank regarding the same. The following points regarding JIPMER PG application form 2020 are important and candidates are required to go through them thoroughly for a clear idea about how to fill the form:

  • Candidates are advised to fill their application forms using Internet Explorer (version 11) or Mozilla Firefox (version 50 to 61) or Google Chrome (50 to 69 version)

  • The process of filling application form is complete only after the confirmation page gets displayed on screen.

  • The fee submitted by candidates while filling the application form will not be refunded under any circumstances

  • The data submitted once will not be changed under any situation at any time. Applications with false information will be rejected

  • Candidates need to make sure that details on their id proof and mark sheet match with the JIPMER PG 2020 application form

Hello Aspirant,

As per the lastest orders given by the central government, there will be no AIIMS or JIPMER examinations conducted from 2020, only NEET is considered as the common medical examination conducted throughout the country for the allocation of Medical seats. To get a seat in government college through NEET the candidate has to score a minimum of 900+. I apply for jipmer pg entrance exam... but mistakenly I upload the wrong photo... can I change my photo in application... or shall I apply again.... if I applied again will fees refund....

please be careful when you are filling a form.  check the notification if there is any correction window available or not. if thats not possible you need to again apply with a new mail id and phone number. and you will not get any fees refund for that as the mistakes is done by you and jipmer exam authority is not responsible for this.

First of all for your kind information from 2020 there will not be AIIMS or JIPMER examinations conducted as per the orders from central government. NEET will only be the common entrance examination for allocation of medical seats throughout the country.
